3 dead in shooting at Elkhart grocery store 8 minutes ago Associated Press
ELKHART, Ind. | A man fatally shot two women in a northern Indiana grocery store Wednesday night and was lining up to shoot a third person when police officers found him in an aisle and killed him, authorities said.
Elkhart police received a call about a gunman at Martin's Super Market about 10 p.m. Wednesday, Indiana State Police Sgt. Trent Smith said Thursday.
The 22-year-old man used a semi-automatic handgun to shoot and kill a 20-year-old employee and a 44-year-old shopper, Smith said. The victims' bodies were found about 12 aisles apart. Indiana State Police identified the gunman as Shawn Walter Bair of Elkhart.
Smith said two police officers responding to the scene heard a gunshot as they entered the near-empty store. They dashed to that area and found the shooter pointing his gun at a third person. Smith said the man then aimed his gun at the officers and that's when they shot him dead.

Man with gun stops mass shooting! Again!
No AR, no story. Unless it was a specially modified AR disguised as a pistol.
Once again the cops are there AFTER people have been murdered. If only a citizen had been armed.
Correct, it probably also was not a Glock.
Good thing he turned the gun in their direction otherwise there might have been a third victim.
He had a knife too. Sounds like he randomly picked his victims, but no one knows yet.

Have shopped there numerous times. This hits close to home.
Another maniac off his meds?
That’s unexpected. I bet he was an obama voter though

Once again, we see that the only thing that stops a bad person with evil in their heart is a good guy with a gun.
In Portland, a disgruntled man with no shortage of previous arrests thought he was going to show them after getting turned away from admission for being an obnoxious jerk. He returned wearing a Halloween mask and carrying a gun and opened fire.

There was a similar situation in Houston many years ago. The guy walked out into the parking lot of a convenience store with his female hostage. A police sniper on the roof of an adjacent building took him out with a shot just behind the left ear. Dead instantly and the lady ran away from him as he lay dead.
Ha! Only seconds ago I thought to purchase one today. “Italian Way.”
My friend always get that kind.
