From KABC web site
Suits is a decorated military veteran having served three tours of duty overseas including Desert Storm and in Bosnia. He is also a Los Angeles radio veteran having served over five years at KFI and getting his start on KROQ-FM.
Bryan Suits was made for talkradio. His natural curiosity and spellbinding storytelling make him one of the most compelling personalities on Los Angles radio. He has earned the respect and loyalty of his radio listening audience by diving headlong into the issues that effect Southern Californians. The fearlessness with which he approached his military assignments drives an energy and excitement that is unmatched in radio.
---
Suits was awarded a Bronze Star for his service as an infantry officer in Baghdad in 2005. He was awarded a Purple Heart for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, also in Baghdad. He served in the National Guard during the LA riots.
Going up against Limbaugh and Prager.
I am pretty sure he is replacing the syndicated Geraldo Rivera program.
Suits has been on KFI for a while. He has been doing a Sunday show.
Interesting stuff going on in LA talk radio.
Heads up to all of Bryan's fans from his days on radio in Seattle.
Anything to replace that pimp Geraldo. Can’t stand him.
Suits s pretty good and unique.
I posted this because I had no idea he was going to have this show.
So others might not know who’d like to know.
Used to listen to Bryan on KVI 570 in Seattle.
I find him smart and well informed. He certainly knows his military stuff; I know he saw a lot of action and keeps up with all things US military. I hope he does well, but I am a Rush Babe.
Also, when suits had his show with the woman named Kennedy (who was a MTV VJ back in the day), he was the easier one to listen to, for me, as I find her far too sarcastic for comfort. It always makes me wonder, when someone is so sarcastic, if they ever don’t have that annoying, critiquing voice on. When they get a 3 am bad news call, are they ever genuine, or is it “Really?? So Grandma just HAD to pass in the middle of the night??”
But suits is good, and his military and govt insights are fascinating. Don’t know if he is a true conservative, one could guess so, but I enjoyed him.
I like Suits as well. Believe he took over the KFI time slot from Capt. Dale Dye, who I really enjoyed. Too bad he had to leave.
Yes. I do think he’s conservative with a libertarian side.
The woman was Kennedy.
I was wondering what happened to him on KFI on Saturdays.
Suits is a good military analyst, wonder if he is bringing Kennedy (liberatarian) over with him. Have not heard from her lately either.
Me, too. And I got on as a caller a few times. He is a little smart aleck and risqué for some tastes. But he is a refreshing change from the same old same old sometimes. I remember him talking about this old lady in Ballard who refused to sell out when a new Trader Joes went in and the result, such was a little old house in the middle of a big shopping complex appealing to the new hipster and yuppie demographic moving into the new condos in the old Scandanavian blue collar neighborhood. I didnt agree with his take on it, but still. The lady has since died and the house went away. I assume that he will bring the same irreverent take in local news down there.
I think Hannity is moving to Clear channel 1150 from KABC (I don’t listen to Hannity).
Rush is being switched to 1150.
Lots of changes about to happen.
I’m listening to Suits now and it is just him. No gimmicks. Just like his other shows.
I remember Dale Dye.
I enjoyed him as well.
Looks like both KABC and KFI are going local, except for a tape delayed Mark Levin.
Interesting.
I miss Suits. He didn’t mince words, he wasn’t afraid to confront liberal idiots and he never backed down from a liberal’s attempts to shout him down. Now all we have in Seattle are establishment squishes. I only listen now for Rush.
loved him on KFI for years he is the real deal
I was under the impression that Mark Levin was also going to make the move to AM 1150 in the L.A. market and follow Rush and Sean. I guess we’ll see...
Looks like the party is over...I could care less what goes on in the peoples republic of California.
Yup. Moved Rush off to a higher frequency that can't be picked up in San Diego to compete with Rush on KOGO 600. The KFI 640 signal booms into San Diego, so you could take your choice between KOGO or KFI in San Diego. Leaving Rush on KOGO helps them. LaDona Harvey (12-3) is the only decent local host left on KOGO.
