.... Obama leaves the White House on Wednesday for one of the capitals most struggling neighborhoods to talk about the economy, not simply to divert attention from his troubled Affordable Care Act but to explain how that law, for all of its flaws, fits into his vision for Americans economic security and upward mobility.
It is a vision of partnership between government and citizens that Mr. Obama has described since he was a state senator in Illinois, and it draws on the legacies of three Republican presidents Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

People need to show up and mock this clown.
Another lie from satan-boy... no REPUBLICAN voted for it... not even the low down, slimy communist republicans like snowe and mccain. Every time an obama speaks... a few more Americans wake up. Keep lying barry... your name is a lie... your father was a lie... your mother was a lie... your life has been a string of lies... your religion is a lie... your sexuality is a lie... you are a lie! FUBO!
Obama speak: Partnership = serfdom.
Actually, I hope the entire remainder of his tenure is CONSUMED with the need to keep putting lipstick on this pig.
The more he has to get out there and tell even more outrageous lies, the better. Eventually, these people that are in the “queue” to sign up WILL get signed up, and they’ll find out that PPACA card is the most expensive piece of toilet paper they ever bought.
The more that he has to do this means less time spent in other country-killing endeavors like Amnesty, gun-control and total economic shutdown.
The Republicans have got to get out there and say something and do it fast. Since the first flurry, there has been nothing but silence from the GOP on all of this.
Possibly they’re speaking out and it’s not getting reported, of course, but in that case, they’ve just got to get louder.
Medical “insurance” is actually perceived as insurance, even though it’s mostly used as a third-party coupon-discount.
How many people do you know that say “I want insurance in case of a catastrophe” compared to “I want insurance to bring my medical expenses down.”?
Because of this collective system of paying for given expenses, not risk of expense, it’s actually a microcosm of communism (even before O’care) which is why costs go out of control. Economically, communism has never worked.
To fix medical “insurance”, you have to get rid of what makes it communist, not pile on, which CommieCare does.
I have given up on the RINOS ever attempting to FIX anything.
All they do is come down hard on Ted Cruz and any others that dare to speak the truth.
I will only vote for a true conservative no mater what party they are associated with.
Remember RomneyCare? The prime reason Romney was the most awful choice possible for the GOP nominee. Even during the campaign, he never favored repeal -- he would "tweak" it and adjust it, and have 50 (57?) RomneyCares, one in each state.
BTW, Romney's still enamored of RomneyCare, which has given MA the highest premiums in the nation, in spite of the federal money that poured in because of it. He thinks it's terribly wrong to force the nation into a one-size-fits-all deal, but apparently thinks it's perfectly fine to force each state into a one-size-fits-all deal!
“fits into his vision for Americans economic security and upward mobility.”
I’m waiting for someone to explain this vision clearly. I’m thinking the term “white privilege” plays a role in that.
When the sheeple have to stroke checks that are double and triple for premiums every month no amount of propaganda about ObamaScare will work. When the sheeple start selling cars to ditch car payments and not buying anything “luxury” items to pay premiums the economy will get even worse.
On an average income of $51,017, $10k-$20k in mandated health insurance bills with huge deductibles and co-pays is well beyond "a big ****ing deal", it's an arithmetic impossibility. There is just no way to hide this fiasco once the bills for it start rolling in.
...”Obama speak: Partnership = serfdom.”...
It is a partnership which hurts and destroys and it does equal serfdom..Every elderly person I know who worked a long career has been charged a tax for their Medicare for a long time now and they have just seen that tax go up sharply. Mine increased by 9.3 %.. My husband and I worked hard for 40 years, never dreaming that our government would become so revolutionary as to become the enemy of our system of freedom for all. They are looking to rob low and middle class people, including the elderly, in order to level everyone to an equal state of poverty. They want the elderly to go away and, given the opportunity, they will see to it. This kind of lawlessness cannot go on. We are not this kind of nation..I believe most Americans will soon realize what is up and will make bold moves to stop it.
That was funny in itself---but Boobamba's funniest line was to urge Republicans to come up with "ideas" for him.
This comes after Boobamba tells America dose dam Republicans are evil---even terroristic. And now he wants their h/care ideas?
Oh, please----what could Repubs possibly tell this WH genius and his crackerjack know-it-all team (the ones who devised this boondoggle)?
===============================================
George Will said it best: "Its OK for pols to be clever---but they cannnot 'appear' to be clever. B/C voters equate clearness with deviousness?
IMHO--that's why Boobamba's nos are doing a Costa Concordia into the deep blue sea---not b/c of the Obamacare flopola and the wacky web site--- but b/c his handling of them has outed him as a devious con artist who will say or do anything to keep his scam going.
Effing psychopath.
Very true!
Balderdash---people know now that what he was promising them in 2012 was an outright lie. His political scam of "Hope and Change" is as defunct as turn-of-the-century buggy whips. ..........
.....as for Boobamba's "If you like it, you can keep it" chant........
