'Humans evolved after a female chimpanzee mated with a pig

The human species began as the hybrid offspring of a male pig and a female chimpanzee, a leading geneticist has suggested. The startling claim has been made by Eugene McCarthy, of the University of Georgia, who is also one of the worlds leading authorities on hybridisation in animals. He points out that while humans have many features in common with chimps, we also have a large number of distinguishing characteristics not found in any other primates.

Dr McCarthy says these divergent characteristics are most likely the result of a hybrid origin at some point far back in human evolutionary history. What's more, he suggests, there is one animal that has all of the traits which distinguish humans from our primate cousins in the animal kingdom. 'What is this other animal that has all these traits?' he asks rhetorically. 'The answer is Sus scrofa, the ordinary pig.' Dr McCarthy elaborates his astonishing hypothesis in an article on Macroevolution.net, a website he curates. He is at pains to point out that that it is merely a hypothesis, but he presents compelling evidence to support it.

At some point someone will ask the good doctor where the pig and the chimp came from.

A pig and a chimp. Who does that remind me of? I think they live in the white house.

“A hypothesis is PART of the scientific process.”

Yes, but this was posited only as a hypothesis, not as anything else.

Are you saying it didn’t happen? Oh, no, this is awful, I own fifty one percent of Perpetual Motion Inc., it cost me almost fifty dollars too!

Well senator Mary Landscrew (aka Miss Piggy) is kinda cute but she does look way more like daddy vs. momma. As for Moochshelle though it looks like the gorilla got in on a little porked action too.

One of my ex-bosses met all the criteria, plus he drank alcohol also. And perhaps some of my relatives.

Then someone entered an IQ of 20 and the machine sold him some health care insurance approved by the Obama administration.

‘Man came from monkey, so some folks say, but the good Book don’t quite tell it that way, if you believe the monkey business as some folks do, then I’d rather be that monkey’s brother than you—and that’s all-—thats all-—better change your way of living before the good Lord says that’s all”....sung by Doc Watson. RIP sir.

About a hundred years ago, I worked as a secretary for a biochemist at a California lab. At the time, he was working on perfecting an artificial heart valve for humans. They were using pig hearts for their research, since their structure was the most similar to a human heart.

There were often several buckets full of bloody pig hearts in his lab for use in their work.

Funny, I don't recall there ever being an assertion that pigs were in any way involved in human evolution.

I remember in college Anatomy and Physiology lab we had to dissect open fetal pigs. The internal organs do resemble human anatomy. I still have the kit of blades and pins we had to purchase as students.

"repeat the hypothesis in a laboratory setting"

That's what I was thinking, artificially inseminate a chimp with pig semen and see what happens, repeat 20 or 30 times. If any of these tests result in pregnancy then this Phd might be on to something (big).

He in an expert in hybrid breeding and seems to think that humans must be a result of some sort of hybrid coupling. New concept to me, but I think it has merit. Certainly worthy of more research. I have long doubted the money to man Darwinism being pushed my Main Stream Evolutionists.
