How many Americans are being smashed by these same sort of crushing financial blows because of Obamacare? Across North Carolina, thousands of people have been shocked in recent weeks to find out their health insurance plans will be canceled at the end of the year and premiums for comparable coverage could increase sharply. One of them is George Schwab of Charlotte, who pays $228 a month for his familys $10,000 deductible plan from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. In a Sept. 23 letter, Blue Cross notified him that his current plan doesnt meet benefit requirements outlined in the Affordable Care Act and suggested a comparable plan for $1,208 a month $980 more than he now pays. Im 62 and retired, Schwab said. This creates a tremendous financial burden for our family. The President told the American people numerous times that
If you like your coverage, you can keep it, Schwab said. How can we keep it if it has been eliminated? How can we keep it if the premium has been increased 430 percent in one year?

Its that wake up moment where they say “oh wait we were tricked”.
lol
That is a good idea, Obama care cannot be too great, or the dems would be having ppl on daily to say how good it is.
You have made my point. (however redundant it may have been) ;^)
As we would reply to them “ WE TOLD YOU SO YOU DOPES ! “
That’s why they’re having such massive cognitive dissonance,
because they really don’t understand that they have even made assumptions,
much less are they willing to examine whether those assumptions are valid.
I love schadenfreude! :-)
Yep. Already premiums have been rising due to Obamacare. Since 2010 premiums have been rising at 3x the rate prior to Obamacare passage. My premiums are rising 14% this year which is the biggest rate of increase I’ve ever seen.
They expected ‘FREE’ healthcare.
They expected SOMEONE ELSE to pay for it.
They expected a FREE RIDE.
They expected the OTHER PEOPLE to ‘PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE’.
What they discovered is that THEY is THEM........................
You're right however, you are assuming the Pub's have an effective PR department and a spine.
Exactly. They aren’t trumpeting success because its not thee.
The website has huge design / software issues also. So if your current plan is cancelled, you can’t even shop for Obamacare when forced to.
BTW - Venezuala just nationalized toilet paper.
Socialism..
They don’t and that is their biggest problem. They also don’t have compete marketing branding people. They need to recruit people from big business retail to drive their communications and marketing. They are still trying to do things from the old inside the beltway perspective.
With apologies to Walt Kelly; They has met the enemy and it is them.
As they say, get ready.. “YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHIN’YET”
I don’t think that’s true. I think if you like your coverage and it does not meet the standards of Obamacare, you cannot keep it.
So my only course of action is...
Blame those Republicans for getting in the way of President Beloved One's noble efforts to make my life perfect!!!
The “Affordable” part is big lie in all this.
Yes, it probably is a great opportunity. It will probably not make them republicans but it might educate them on the consequences of electing a socialist / communist / mooslim / America hater.
As bad as this increase in premiums is there is more and worse to come... invasive medical questions, poor coverage, high deductibles, high co-pays, care screening and...
HIGHER TAXES on EVERYTHING. The tax bill is coming soon and it is going to be huge.
