This is what happens when you give all the money earmarked for developing a simple website over three years to

ACORN and the SEIU.

Fixing the software design? Takes lots of time. Takes lots of money.

If the Republicans were smart, they would jump on this, start a clock, and begin a chorus of "Is it done? Is it done? Is it done?"

Hammer Obamacare and act shocked that the major SW design change, re-test and re-deployment can't be done by 2PM. Make the public believe that this is a pile of poo. Because it is.

The website is troubled by coding problems and flaws in the architecture of the system
And to think we put a man on the moon almost half a century ago.
This entire gov't is nothing but amateurs.

DESIGN is not “Overwhelming Demand”. Meaning the Administration lied, again. No surprise.

DESIGN means Back to the Drawing Board for a re-design of critical components. This takes months if not years.

DESIGN means fundamental failure of the government to deliver just the signup phase. What about the enforcement phase, transfers among states, portability, integration with tax payments / refunds?

What about your actual healthcare?

Will healthcare in the U.S. FAIL? (Duh! The answer is of course “Yes.”)

Obama has failed. He is an incompetent lout that was unable to lead his government to develop the machinery necessary to implement his utopia.

He must be fired. Now

Were he CEO or Coach, he would not be tolerated and would be outtathere

Racist? are all black people incompetent? of course not

As a former software developer, all I can say is that the absolute worst thing that whoever's in charge of this site could do, is start setting arbitrary dates for when the site might be back online. And by "online," I mean actually working and allowing people to purchase insurance.

As for who's in charge--I know, I know--it's not Obama, it's not Sebeillus, it's no one we would probably know.

"flaws in the architecture of the system"

That's BIG.

You don't solve an architectural problem over the weekend, this month, or this year. In my business, an architectural failure will take at last 6 months to fix, and we run billions of dollars through systems, somewhat like the government.

They can’t manage IDENTIES. That’s just verification to get you into the system. Who knows what error lie beyond that?

THEY’RE DOING A SYSTEMS TEST ON YOU!

Don’t sign up. If they can’t manage identification, who knows what they’ve done with:

SECURITY!?!?

According to other articles I have seen on FR, CGI of Montreal, got the 300 million dollar contract. (Three Hundred Mil to develop a Website? To a Canadian Company?) Maybe they designed it to fail on purpose so they could keep coming here to escape Canada Health Care.

Not unlike the boot manufacturer during the civil war whose boots fell apart after soldiers wore them for only one day. The POS manufacturer replied: “Well, they were meant for the cavalry”.

IMO, even if all the software/hardware/design problems were fixed, there still the premium/deductible/provider availability issues that are shocking.

"After what I've been through, I'm a little suspicious," Mr. Push said, adding that he hoped to see premiums lower than what he pays now.

Once again the only example of someone buying or getting close to buying Obamacare insurance is someone who ALREADY HAS INSURANCE and is just looking for some taxpayer-subsidization to lower his costs. I thought the whole reason this law was passed was to insure the uninsured? Turns out the real purpose is to move people who already have money onto welfare rolls, or to turn people who might be voting Republican now into Democrat-dependent constituents.

It’s never going to work because it can’t work.

It can’t work because it was designed not to work.

Costing the absolute maximum amount while not working is what it is meant to do.

And it is doing that extremely well.

Look folks, when the enemy gives you a giant pile of scrap iron and tells you that if all of you take off your clothes, put down your weapons, and use old toothbrushes to work together to turn the scrap iron into a spaceship - all while the enemy provides everything your need to stay alive....

Get a freaking clue!

LOL!

Will Obama correct his earlier tout of “glitches” and now call it what is really is as, “design” flaws?
