The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.

Beautiful! Simply Beautiful!
No doubt...he’s not being disuaded from his agenda one bit....as they ‘all’ have said...From Obama and his wife to Reid and Pelosi they’ll go over it... crash thru it...go under and around any opposition in their way.......whatever the American people do to stop them they are intent on carrying out their agenda.

That is terrible. Nobody likes WWI. I wonder if there is even a SA War memorial around.
Only problem is WWI was definitely the most ridiculous war. For everyone, but especially us. And absolutely horrible. Those men deserve thanks just for putting up with all that useless garbage.
Obviously they consider these activities "essential".
I'd play that angle up if I were the GOP. Obama considers keeping WWII vets out of the open air memorial that truly does not need any people to run it.
In fact, it is probably costing MORE to do this than to man the memorial.
WE HAVE SOME HEART HERE, FOLKS.
THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE OFFICERS REMOVED THE BARRICADES THEMSELVES SO THE VETS COULD ENTER UNIMPEDED.
They thumbed their noses at the boss.
Just saw that on another thread:

Thanks for posting that news, tanknetter
Good for those few. They can hold their heads high. Congress needs to make sure there is no retaliation against them from Obama.
Hey Boots...
Any line on who the congressmen were, those doing the removing?
This is good to hear...
Well, well, well. The Park Service is actually about the only functional agency of the US Government and employs a lot of good people (I know some) who are really very devoted to this country and knowledgeable about its history.
I suspect that one of the reasons Obama wanted to close this monument was not only to upset the average American who wants to visit our national parks and monuments, but also to take a dig at the Park Service.
That’s a great pic/poster.
Huh? You could visit any one of these parks and learn an enormous amount about your history (assuming you’re an American...based on your comment, I suspect you may not be).

Love it!!!
Why don’t you go out and learn something? This is a country that is proud of its history, or was proud of it, until Obama took over.
In any case, you pay to enter a national park, but you’re probably too cheap to do that because you’re living in your own Ayn Rand world.
