The Obama administration is adding more barricades at the World War Two Memorial in Washington, D.C. this morning, according to reporters on the scene.
The reinforcements are being put in place apparently to prevent a repeat of yesterday when WWII veterans aided by several Republican Congressmen pushed aside barricades to visit their memorial.
Buzzfeed got no response from the White House last night when queried about the administration closing the memorial to veterans.
A report last night claimed that the Park Service would arrest veterans who attempt to visit the WWII Memorial.

I called my Congressman - Phil Roe - R-TN -1 - and told his staffer I wanted Phil to stand for me at the Memorial today.

Somebody in the conservative media needs to ask lib asskisser Tom Hanks for his thoughts on this since he was so proactive in fundraising for the memorial. He was inducted into the Ranger Hall of Fame for a movie role. Will he stand with the vets or his president?

Funny you mention that.
My old man, WWII Airborne (Bulge and the jump into Germany in March 45), was never warm enough either.
The Bulge had some of the coldest weather in 100 years in 1944...

The memorial was built with public funds. In order to shut it down ALL government properties would need to be closed. Get a judge involved to declare it (and the WH ) public property

More USTREAM, it is how the progressive move their stories around social media so well and easily.

:) Anyone can do it. If I could get out there, I would do it. They could have their own “show”.

..........I wish this were true! These guys have to be in the high eighties to nineties, not seventies. If you were 18 in 1945 you were born in 1927 = 86 years old.
So, yes, I wish the current 82nd airborne would show up en masse and bang some heads together and I’m not talking about the lowly paid guys/park officers as much as I am democrat politicians who either actively or by their silence and inaction support this atrocity on our veterans. What is happening is surely the low mark of this once great country!

When we see photos like this, how can we not believe that there can be another Waco in our immediate future?

When I asked him why he did it, he said "Because I can, now."
I'm very well versed in military history, but never knew much about the Battle of the Bulge other than what I learned from the movie Patton.
So I read a couple of first hand accounts and I can fully appreciate your grandfather's answer. God bless him.

After the confrontation w/WWII vets at the memorial yesterday, someone in the federal gov made a decision to escalate. Key question: Who?
