Dear Congress,
I hope you de-fund and kill ObamaCare.
ObamaCare killed my brother in law.
An outrageous thing to say? Listen to this shortened version of this story and see if you don’t agree.
My brother in law, Dr. Philip Henderson, III of Longview, Washington, was a fourth generation doctor in this medium sized logging town in Cowlitz County in Southwest Washington. He was responsible for bringing 6,000 babies into this world. He started programs to help poor women receive prenatal care, helped out at a free clinic he helped start, gave thousands of hours –totaling five years–of his own, unpaid time to cover OB-GYN emergencies at the local hospital AND he volunteered for ten years at both local high schools to give teens “the talk.” He lobbied Senators and Congressional reps in Washington, D.C. in an attempt to slow the debilitating effects of ObamaCare on women’s health care in Washington State.

In the past several months, ObamaCare “winner” and “survivor,” Kaiser, ended its contract with Dr. Henderson’s four partner OB-GYN clinic, Lower Columbia Women’s Clinic, and decided to take over the thousands of patients this local practice had built up over decades. This move was designed to consolidate care necessitated by the constraints of ObamaCare. And this meant that many patients would now have to travel 40 minutes south to Vancouver, Washington to receive care. My brother-in-law’s practice would lose their patients. More important, their patients would not be able to keep their doctor–a promise made by the President about ObamaCare.

Terribly sorry, My brother is a Dr. and I am scared for him and his three boys. He absolutely thinks this will be a huge disaster. That’s just a sin.
Sad. Any doctors out there in similar shape, please keep in mind that the resistance will need you. Keep the faith.

I hope people will share their personal stories by calling talk shows, and/or writing letters to editors.
The lib media gives us a cherry-picked story to support Ocare, and we need to let as many people as possible know what’s REALLY going on.
One of my relative’s cardiologist told him to come back a year later, but changed his mind, and now said his next visit must be with his GP. We wonder if it’s Ocare.
Any doctors out there, who want to move to Missouri? We live an underserved rural community full of social conservatives-even most of the Democrats.
We could use several good Docs here-cause there is a shortage.

What a schmuck you are. And this wasn’t an assisted suicide, it was a plain old suicide brought on by despair. Bottom line, buzz off. Your behavior is disgusting.
How about stopping the wandering and coming back to the real Jesus, not a caricature.
God’s busy extending love to a world which, of yet, is still mostly refusing it.
If you have the slightest idea that any human sin is beyond gospel power to displace with God’s righteousness and grace for any reason beyond human refusal, then chuck that idea out at once. God never told the world “Do you feel lucky, punk” like a celestial Dirty Harry even though He would have every right to do it. As the bible says, God is not like us, His thoughts are higher, and that doesn’t just mean the myriads of details. That means in fundamental character. Holiness is also inexorably loving. God would even rather let someone choose hell, with all the freakish delight that it takes in hating God, than to wipe his soul out of existence.
Curious how you deduced or concluded that this sad person had anything to do with the freeper lowbridge. Such an attack requires proof or it is gratuitous.
It’s a tragic story, and no this is not to excuse the doctor for his own evil act.
A family member committed suicide, a grief-ridden FReeper comes here to vent about that tragedy, and THAT’S your response????

This is what so few realize about Democrat policies.
They think “Democrats are for the little guy”. What they never realize, is that the restrictions leftist policies put on everyone makes it impossible for anyone but chains and giants with deep pockets to wade through the costs and restrictions. Little folk can’t get beyond the laws and regulations that only large companies can pay to negotiate.
Wherever Dems go, they kill the little folk. But they make up for it, you see, by giving the beggars handouts. Making it impossible for good folk to succeed and rewarding those of less character for learning to live off begging. Like all those commercials for food stamps they are running everywhere.
It’s frightening that people should be so shortsighted this is not obvious to them.
I asked my doctor the other day what he thought of Obamacare. I am pretty sure he is a liberal Jew, but he thought it was a disaster also. He basically told me the regulations are almost insurmountable, hundreds of thousands of new medical codes, less reimbursement, and he said two people with a letter “signed by Obama” came and turned his clinic inside out.
I think people are concerned about cost and losing their plans right now, but I think once people see the lack of privacy and invasiveness of this horrid law, that is going to be the real shocker. Rush always said the law was not about health care at all, it was about CONTROL.
