As President Barack Obama kicks off an all-out push for a strike on Syria, Secretary of State John Kerry came under fire on Monday for saying any attack would be unbelievably small and suggesting the Syrian ruler still had a week to give up his chemical weapons to avoid a U.S. assault - a remark Kerrys spokeswoman later attempted to clarify.
The off-key comments came in a joint press conference in London with Britains foreign secretary, where Kerry said the strike would be able to harm Assad without putting American troops on the ground and with a very limited, very targeted, short-term effort.
That is exactly what we are talking about doing unbelievably small, limited kind of effort, Kerry said, according to reports.
The comments, which dismayed even supporters of an attack on Syria, added fuel to the debate as Obama launches a full court press 48-hour media and political blitz to try to sell the plan to a skeptical American public and Congress.

Did his momma eat a lot of chicken?
Incompetents in office is always dangerous.

The rest of the world is watching, taking notes, of this bungling buffoonery.
Weakness invites aggression. Always has, always will.
They have no message discipline.
Kerry says the airstrikes would be unbelievably small.
Rice said airstrikes might fall outside legal framework..(ie be illegal.)
Incredible.
"Our enemies are little worms, I saw them in Munich." - Adolf Hitler, 1938
Men and women who lack wisdom and a grasp of the situation at hand tend not to admit a mistake. Already, this administration has asked for war to save Obama from embarrassment. Now they want permission for a little tiny strike. Wasn't the bombing of Libya supposedly just so the defeated "freedom fighters" would be protected as they returned home? Oops.
Nobody's connecting the dots. Obama never saw one unintended consequence of labelling Snowden a traitor. That would be that with that Obama alienated a lot of his base....the already disillusioned progressives.
A wounded beast is the most dangerous.
Note the clean desk, devoid of any indications of work. Also note the empty chairs. Just sayin....
Has he found an aspirin factory in Syria to blow up with cruise missiles?
CORRECTION - Power not Rice.

Reminds me of what my Granddad used to say about liberals decades ago. “How do you know liberals are lying? When they start to talk!”
The incompetence just keeps oozing out the these POS wannabe’s and then they spend 3 days trying to weasel out of what they meant to say! All the while the little fire is turning into an inferno!
Our poor USA is turning into a laughing stock of a country. :(

Yeah.
Things are urgent, but not too urgent to interrupt Obama’s golf games.
Things are urgent, but not too urgent that Obama delays until Congress returns from vacation.
Things are urgent, but not too urgent that Obama can delay addressing the Nation for nearly a week on how urgent the need to take action is.
Things are urgent, but not too urgent that they would need ‘boots on the ground’ to ensure that the chemical weapons were secured.
Things are urgent, but not too urgent that Kerry says the strikes would only be small.

We continue to get mishmash of jumbled up information.
The Administration cannot even state why they are supporting the rebel faction over the Assad faction.
The Administration cannot even state what the compelling national interest is for the US.
They got her coming so she can look good for 2016. Automatic coronation to the presidency!
