As President Barack Obama kicks off an all-out push for a strike on Syria, Secretary of State John Kerry came under fire on Monday for saying any attack would be “unbelievably small” and suggesting the Syrian ruler still had a week to give up his chemical weapons to avoid a U.S. assault - a remark Kerry’s spokeswoman later attempted to clarify.
The off-key comments came in a joint press conference in London with Britain’s foreign secretary, where Kerry said the strike would be able to harm Assad without putting American troops on the ground and with a “very limited, very targeted, short-term effort.”
“That is exactly what we are talking about doing – unbelievably small, limited kind of effort,” Kerry said, according to reports.
The comments, which dismayed even supporters of an attack on Syria, added fuel to the debate as Obama launches a full court press 48-hour media and political blitz to try to sell the plan to a skeptical American public and Congress.

How can one trust a Government that coted almost unanimously for this turd to be SOB?
Never in the all most four decades where this vile pos has insulted real vets and America and became a liberal hero for doing his stuff. Kerry and Oboza are serial liars and exhibit their total empty morality re Syria everytime they have opened their lying mouths!
The same mentally ill, empty moralism on Syria, agendas of Obozo Liar, Queeg McAinal, Kerry the Faux Vietnam hero, and congressional rats wanting to bomb Syria could apply to 9/11!
Kerry had just completed THE DNC'S COMPASSION-TRAINING SEMINAR as he pontificated on the use of chemical weapons.
When he did his DNC Compassion Act.....Kerry was even able to force out tears when he asserted w/ eyes narrowed for emphasis: "use of chemical weapons in “a cowardly crime” and a “moral obscenity” that shocked the world’s conscience."
Then he added.....
"I'm getting a brain transplant tomorrow."
And not a moment too soon.
He promised his pals in the Muslim Brotherhood that would kill Assad for them. So, that itty bitty cruise missile is going down Assad’s chimney.
Okay. NOW I’m starting to worry.
Why can’t they communicate a coherent message?

GOLUB: John Kerry says limited action in Syria not war
“Kerry insisted that “limited action” against Syria is not the same as going to war. The man who voted for the Iraq War before voting against it is now in favor of going to war in Syria, provided that we call this stinking pile of offal a rose.
Since “workplace violence” and “overseas contingency operations” were already taken, “limited action” is the new non-war slogan from an administration willing to take any action short of engaging in honest dialogue.
Even Nancy Pelosi’s five-year-old grandson understands this stuff. Taking military action against Syria is war. Bombing another country is almost by definition an act of war. War can be justified, but the liberals running the Obama Administration need to stop treating Americans like imbeciles.
The American people are losing trust in Obama, and are clamoring for honesty in government. Obama needs to make the case for war and then either go to war or not go to war.

If Obozo Liar decides to attack the Syrian regime, he has ensured – for the very first time in history – that the United States will be on the same side as al-Qaeda. Quite an alliance!
