They Are the Perpetrators Who Learned a Very Painful Lesson Two suspected robbers left the scene of their own crime looking like the victims of a brutal attack after their would-be victims fought back.
Johnny Calderon Jr., 19, and Gerald Allen, 18, attempted to rob two University of Virginia students at gunpoint, which turned out to be a huge, painful mistake, according to police in Charlottesville, Va.
Police arrived on the scene to find the two students had beaten up and detained the suspects.
Clearly, Allen got the worst of the beating. His right eye was swollen shut and his face bloodied. However, Calderon didnt get off easy and arrived at the police station with a black eye and plenty of bruises.
Calderon has been charged with two counts of attempted robbery, one count of pointing a firearm and using a firearm in the commission of a felony, WVIR-TV reports. Allen is facing two counts of attempted robbery.
Calderon is due in General District Court Friday morning for a hearing. Allen is due in court on October 3, the report adds.

This is how you deal with bullies.
Charlottesville Police: “Um....we don’t need you to do that.”
They got off easy.
This should happen to every dimwitted thug that attempts a violent crime.
It almost seemed like they were sympathetic to the thugs.
The Charlottesville Police can be pretty thuggish themselves.
If the “victims” are white, they will be indicted and in jail by tomorrow.
There’s a certain feeble mindset that immediately assumes that whoever lost the fight must ipso facto be the good guys. This explains the sympathy some people have for Hamas.
Officials do not enourage victims to take matters into their own hands.
lol

Of course, the proposed victims are probably suffering from sore knuckles today. Poor guys. I feel for them. They need to be more careful and try to keep potential criminals from running into their fists again and again.

Perps. Deserved what they got and more. Probably got more sense knocked INTO them than OUT of them.
They were lucky. Sometimes you mess with the really wrong guy

Outstanding...
In my misspent youth I had a run in with the Charlottesville Police. Luckily there is nothing in my permanent record, except for what the NSA is getting from this.
No need for a feeble-mindset here. For those of us who actually read the article, one of your potentially innocent non-perpetrators is charged with using a firearm in the commission of an attempted robbery. That’s pretty much a (non)smoking gun.
Officials actually encourage the opposite: give them everything they want. In return, we'll be sure to arrive late, do lots of meaningless paperwork, and ask for more money in the upcoming fiscal year.
All they learned was to be more prepared to shoot. Sharpton will soon be out claiming that these “boys” just wanted money to buy a Snapple and some Skittles because they hadn’t eaten in four days.
They get no sympathy from me. They should have gotten double the beating.
Once a person attacks an innocent person, he has lost his right to live. If the victim eliminates the threat to his life, the victim has done the right thing.
Yep. Should be in the emergency room having their guns removed from their colons.
Only if they perform autopsies in the emergency room.
Beautiful!
