On Saturday, Martin Luther King III, son of the civil rights icon, used a rally that honored the 50th anniversary of the Reverend Doctor's "I Have a Dream" to politicize and inject race into the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, asserting he was killed because of the color of his skin.
"Sadly, the tears of Trayvon Martin's mother and father remind us that far too frequently the color of one's skin remains a license to profile, arrest, and to even murder with no regard to the content of one's character," Martin Luther King III declared. "Regressive 'stand your ground' laws must be repealed."

Your father spits at you, you slime ball race baiter.
Killed because he embraced black thug culture.
Master race baiter....
He’s not nearly as intelligent as his father. And that is not saying much to begin with.
I guess they are doing it because of racism against themselves.
Yes, he’s a master baiter alright.
the kid was supposed to be in school...
and his mamma says....send money....
Forgot the adjective before the noun black....
“violent” black
I guess that nothing was mentioned about Trayvon’s character — only the color of his skin was considered important.
If it’s true that blacks are being murdered on the basis of their skin color, then they should be the most ardent supporter of gun rights and stand your ground laws. The right of self defense is fundamental to freedom.
The death’s of young black men will continue due to the attitude of their own leaders. As long as they stand in the way of welfare reform, reform of our schools and reform of their own culture..it will not change and may get worse.
Incorrect. It was the "content" of Trayvon's "character" that earned him a bullet to the chest.
Please deal with that, all you racist libs.
I’ll bet his sister disagrees
I’m not. Their racial issues have nothing to do with me and I won’t legitimize them.
Lifts my spirit when I hear the stats or Chicago’s black on black killings every weekend....
Among the people recently shot in Chicago were two black children, ages 6 and 7. I see that reported on the news and see people justifiably distraught, but no outrage, no demonstrations, and really no coverage on the news beyond the day after the shootings. Where are King III, Sharpton, Jackson, et al? Do they even know these kids’ names?
And Chris Lane was murdered because he was white. But somehow I don’t think King III is concerned with that.
