Ellison nearly slipped up twice -- 'the government has a right'.
He probably wanted to say 'the government has a right to it.'
That sort of runs along the same line of thinking as Hillary Clinton's comment about taking from the rich and redistributing it.

ellison is such a complete anti-Free-America moron that I doubt if he has even one functioning brain cell. Thanks, Minnesota, for imposing this fool upon America and your former comedian senator who is now an idiot-senator. Are you drinking too heavily and too often up there in Minnesota, eh? What is wrong with you??????

What’s the difference between a government and a protection racket? I mean here and now.
To: Jim Robinson
And the government shouldn’t have it, either. The government needs to do something about spending money.

This is the rump-clown who fake-cried during the 9/11 investigation, embarrassing himself on National TV with some of the worst, most obviously forced crocodile tears I've seen since my little sister last tried them on me over 50 years ago.
Yet another vile, phony scumbag who should be in jail instead of Congress.

This toady of the far Left ought to be confronted in his own district by people familiar with the fact that not one word in the Constitution that he was sworn to uphold, gives the Federal Government any role in housing, civilian health, or redistributing other people's money!
Someone ought to run against him, demanding that he read the Constitution, over & over again, so that it actually piques the interest of those constituents, to see what the fuss is all about. (A reverse of Bill Clinton's "its about the economy, stupid.")
The Left repeats their big lies, like a drum beat, until--like the children following the Pied Piper--they lead the people astray. We need to start repeating the truth like a drum beat, when dealing with these lying scoundrels, until people start to look at the facts for themselves.

Translation: The government has the right to take money away from people who learned the language, stayed in school, obeyed the law, got productive jobs, and give it to yammering, lazy, violent punks who still can't speak or write minimally proper English after more than 200 years in the country and who think that having a regular job is being "too white."

This plan is full of unintended consequences to be devised by a genetically inventive people that values freedom, though it’s been lax in protecting it.

. . . and if the government arbitrarily takes money, it arbitrarily reduces the value of the money which the government printed as a promise.

The fact that the govt doesn’t have control of more money is a good thing, a very good thing. Now we just need to get them to spend less, a lot less. A consequence of that would be a lot less govt interference in our lives. Also a very good thing. The govt, domestically, should be small and weak.

Thanks JimRob. Reparations ping! Shariah ping! The 2016 Demwit nominee for POTUS sez:
The government has a right; the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States. Health; welfare; housing -- all these things.
But don't worry, his trolls will be climbing all over FR, complaining about the Republican nominee, no matter who it is.

The government has a right, the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States. Health, welfare, housing all these things. I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents. ― James Madison
Now who knows more about the Constitution and the powers it gave to government - its author James Madison or complete assclown Keith Ellison.
Personally I think that all the zeros in the money are being horded by the U.S. Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Just mint a few trillion dollar coins and quadrillion dollar bills and everything will be fine.
