The 2012 killing of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has led to various rallies, boycotts, and even songs. Now, the NAACP is leading the way in an effort to force legal changes across the United States in an attempt to prevent another similar situation.
The NAACP created "Trayvon's Law," a series of legislative policies that aims to "end racial profiling, repeal stand your ground laws, form effective civil complaint review boards to provide oversight of police misconduct, improve training for community watch groups, mandate law enforcement to collect data on homicide cases involving non-whites, and address the “school to prison pipeline, NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Jealous explained in a statement according to AllHipHop. "What happened to Trayvon Martin must never happen again," Jealous said according to Jet Mag. "Trayvon's Law will serve as the foundation for community advocates as they work to end laws and practices that contributed to his death and to create new policies that will prevent further tragedies."
The NAACP will push "Trayvon's Law" at the local, state, and federal levels. The organization's Florida State Conference will be working to immediately enact the law in Florida, AllHipHop reports. The organization is also urging states across the US to adopt the law.
"That creepy-ass cracker acted in self defense, and ain't none of us gonna see a damn DIME outta him!"

Trayvon attacked someone. There are already laws against that.

It’s a rejection of the idea that behaviors should have consequences.
This is inherent in liberal ideology, and, I conjecture, dominant in “urban” culture as well.

There are some people (white) that would still believe Trayvon was attacked and was just defending himself even if a surveillance video tape surfaced showing him attacking Zimmerman.
We need to get Crump, Corey and BDLR disbarred. We now know that Jeantel was coached to lie on the witness stand and that Corey and BDLR withheld evidence.
Hopefully the entire 800+ page report on the phone contents which is the basis for the Kruidbos lawsuit needs to be released.
The whole world has to be smacked in the face with the sweet baby Trayvon hypocrisy. Some people will get it as did the studio audience member on the Piers Morgan, may he rot in hell, Show did when Jeantel admitted Trayvon attacked Zimmerman.

They had their script and they’re sticking to it. Like TARP, the new gun-control legislation in February, the proposed amnesty legislation, and Obamacare, senators and congressmen don’t write these things any more. Pressure groups and insiders have been working on them for years just waiting for the right climate and a triggering (ha ha) event to bring them out.
It would be interesting to drop Mr. Ben Jealous off, as dressed/no phone, on a street in South Chicago or South Central LA.
He can be given the option of a handgun, but only if he signs a statement and states on video that he is doing so to protect himself from black thugs.
Now THAT would be an interesting social experiment.
The level of dishonesty in this case is mind-blowing. They’ve been reporting that he was suspended for being tardy. I’m a teacher; you don’t suspend a kid for 10 days for being tardy or truant, in 9 years I have NEVER seen that happen. They might get an opportunity transfer to a different school, but the goal is always to keep them in the school. Schools lose money when the warm bodies aren’t in the classroom. You have to do some pretty serious stuff to get suspended for ten days.
I’m sure the Boner-led Republicans will support such a law whole-heartedly so as to avoid being called racists.

Wonderful plan. But I would add just one new clause to this terrific agenda:
“Implementtion of this bill will start immediately after the NAACP has competed the necessary restructuring to completely and irrevocably eliminate its insane race baiting and racist policies and begin implementing new policies that are intended to actually help rather than hinder the advancement of the health and welfare of colored people”.
