A trio of Republicans in the so-called Gang of Eight huddled with leading figures at Fox News Channel on the bipartisan effort in the Senate to reform the nation's immigration system, according to a piece published in this week's issue of The New Yorker.
The story, written by Ryan Lizza, indicated that Sens. John McCain (R-AZ), Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had discussions with "top hosts" at the conservative cable news network, including Bill OReilly, Sean Hannity and Neil Cavuto, all of whom are " now relatively sympathetic to the Gangs proposed bill."

” This is the biggest scam in the history of the GOP on its own voters and members.”
AMEN, brother! And by FAR the most evil!
” I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Rubio gets the nomination after this if it passes,”
I would sooner vote for Hillary.NOT joking.
Not working with more than these GOP traitors currently realize.
I agree.
Soon after that they did a 30 sec promo on todays Cavuto’s Your World having Jim DeMint on as a guest to talk about the same, how we must kill this immigration bill.
I conclude the premise of this thread post is false, that there is no general pro-amnesty bias across FNC.

” LtC Allen West jumping in against Rubio in a primary???”
Interesting!
I figured the Colonel wasn’t done yet... Good on ‘im. He’s a Patriot.
Yes he is.
Well the man belongs back in office.
I do see that here I predicted that FNC would under-report the immigration battles though esp using the scandals as a smoke screen..
The word "general" is a relative term. But I believe there have always been traitors on board.
Let me rephrase. I see no consistent pro-amnesty message on that channel. I don't see a patterm.
Cavuto had on DeMint yesterday to talk about it.
I was amazed at how swiftly the “powers that be” from both sides of the aisle went after him.
The good Colonel must have really made them wet their pants.
Flak = Over Target...
The New Yorker has a long history as a leftist piece of trash (remember when Sid Blumenthal did puff pieces for Clinton there?), despite its fancying itself as highbrow, and we shouldn't trust them to report accurately. Their purpose in this piece may very well be to stealthily sow discord within the ranks of us, the opposition. Operations like the New Yorker are keenly aware of the massive public opposition that derailed amnesty in 2007 and seem intent on preventing a recurrence. Let's not play up their bogus stories.
Please see my post # 96.
I was not under the impression that he was, but thanks for posting that.
I never inferred that he was. Rush's continuing embrace of Rubio often blurs Rush's position on Amnesty because Rubio has defined himself as Amnesty. Rush no doubt is against Amnesty because Rush is self-employed.
Hannity is a different matter. Hannity may be self-employed on radio but on television Murdoch cuts his checks and he must take his marching orders from Ailes and Tokyo Rove. Anyone who watched Hannity's interview of Rubio on Fox last night, had to be wondering why Hannity was asking questions using the term conservatives in the third person and why Rubio was answering questions using the term conservatives in the third person. As I posted on another thread, Hannity is not really a conservative, he just plays one on what the MSM refers to as right-wing radio.
I agree with you re: Rush and Hannity, but I don’t think self-employment is determinative. The self-employed who benefit from illegal labor tend to be for amnesty, for example.
