LONDON--Before this week, the Guardian newspaper's gradual move into the U.S. hiring dozens of employees in the last two years hadn't produced much of a splash in terms of scoops.
In the last three days that has changed.
The newspaper, which started publishing in the English city of Manchester in 1821 and is now based in London, has established a significant presence in Washington by uncovering the vast scope of secret surveillance operations carried out by U.S. officials at the National Security Agency.....

Without writing a long treatise on the subject....I've heard Obama's White House operatives are trying to smoke out government employee leakers who have or had major or minor "scandal" stories to tell....and are doing so in a raging, retributive way so they can fire them or punish them in some way.
I believe these leakers, who are good and brave people, feel safer from discovery, harm and revenge by giving their revelations to an English-speaking media across the sea, or to its reporters stationed in DC.
I believe the British media operatives will protect the leakers more than will corrupt American journalistas.....while at the same time, the Brit media operatives are also safer from Obama's wrath and Holder's subpoenas if investigations, law suits or indictments of some kind occur.
I know if I were a leaker of damning news concerning the Obama administration, I'd feel a heck of a lot more secure spilling the beans to a foreign-based, (even a left-wing) publisher, editor or reporter than anyone at the NY or LA Slimes.
The "left-wing" media, we must remember, is turning on Obama in a big way, also. It also loves scooping the American media. I also believe the British media journalists will protect their sources more than the left-wing media here in this country.

Maybe it's because Obama may hate Britain more than he hates the US?
at least with outlets like RT and Al Jazeera, you know they hate the USA. These outlets hide the fact and they’ve created a president that isn’t used to defending himself with intelligent arguments but through intimidation. Now like CNN in Baghdad, they risk losing access to the bully regime if they dare report what is actually happening.
MSNBC would gain back some viewers but there are 5 of other stations out there that supply the same all liberal view on a more sane basis.
Somebody really wants a hot news channel they need to do a conservative one because they would be the only one being all conservative.
Where are the Benghazi leakers?
Just imagine the reams of data the DOJ has on all Freepers!
That's the one side, they want to protect their guy.
On the other side, they hate normal American. They hate conservatives, Republicans (God knows why in this case), Christians, the free market, traditional morality, patriotism and ordinary people, who want to do for themselves. Can't have that, they think the wrong thoughts and make the wrong decisions.
Their hatred is their prime motivator. The won't publish anything that they see will help they people they hate.
In fact, this one sentence is all you need to know about media bias:
The won't publish anything that they believe will help they people they hate.
Thanks for the ping...

Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping!
To get onto The Nut-job Conspiracy Theory Ping List you must threaten to report me to the Mods if I dont add you to the list...
Although I think half the time Glen Beck is losing it, "The Blaze" does real reporting (as far as I can tell) and might be worth your while to check it out.
Did you notice they bowed to each other? That ole Bowbama! Ain’t he a hoot! /S
I like the British newspapers myself. Look thru my posting history and you’ll find that a lot of my sources are from that island. Even though they’re liberal, it’s not in their interest to cover up what the Democrats are doing over here in the continent. They are just trying to sell more papers by the end of the day.
I agree with nita, get that information to as many people as possible by secure means.
Possibly some outside of the US. We need God's help for her to know who to trust and who can effectively use the info, who is not a traitor or compromised.
We also need to pray for many within CIA and NSA who are believers to gain courage for such a time as this to stand up and speak truth against the evil wicked in this land.
I'm praying these Psalms :
Psalm 36
Psalm 37
LOL...then I would actually have to watch TV....I am kind of over it.
One more thing about snail mail... Hand write everything involving who gets copies. Do not use a computer, phone, etc to discuss it with recipients. Write a handwritten letter to any and all ppl you send evidence to, with explicit instructions to never mention it on a phone, in email or text message, etc. When mailing, drop them in a drive-by mailbox instead of walking into a post office.
You must assume any digital communication whatsoever is not secure, including copiers and printers. To make a copy of handwritten correspondence, use carbon paper, which is still available at office supply stores. Oh, and buy a lot of it, and press down hard. Lol.
customers are looking to the bloggers and British Media for the real news.

This is not a recent phenomena for me. I noticed during the Clinton years, that whenever the media got all hyped up with some scandal or another, the foreign media often was publishing some “real” news about issues that the USA media was ignoring.
Later when some of the stuff came out in the USA, the media was excusing themselves by saying well all that salacious stuff leading to impeachment just sucked up all the oxygen, and kept everyone too distracted, so some stories just slipped through the cracks.
I didn’t have a PC before then, but as soon as I did I started reading Canadian, British, and other sources of news in order to balance out the less than inclusive LSM.
Markets, like nature, abhor a vacuum.
I wish I had the manual typewriter I learned on. I’ve thought about getting one but they’re either hard to find or expensive. I could try looking harder.
Not that I have any info worth sending anywhere.
You take care of yourself first, everything else will fall in place. Being in scary times is such an understatement, it’s absolutely mind-boggling.
