During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

My goodness, if the Attorney General of the United States can perjure himself without any punishment, then why have a legal system? If he did this, then he doesn’t get off by just quitting. He needs jail time. If he can perjure himself, and get away with it, then our whole legal system becomes a joke and we might as well disband it. And without a legal system, all contracts are worthless. It’s the law of the jungle then, baby.
Friendly questioning under oath? What?
Even if some do, they'll quickly assume that if Holder finds something "not good" on himself, he'll say, "Ooopsie, my bad! Sorry! Won't happen again.", and everything will be fine in their low-info world (except they just won't understand why the Repubs keep hounding that poor man, "He said he was sorry!!").

Holy cow! Johnson must have been drinking to even ask a question like that. He’s a racist through and through and I’m surprised he would even get close to putting holder in a tough positon. (Take it from one who’s in his district)

Keys to the henhouse? Naw, the reality is the fox has been given a connecting residence and tools for chicken processing.
Yes, he'll smugly try to pull that. "Prosecuted," past tense, of course, is a very different thing than "potential prosecution", which were his words in congressional testimony.
The Catch-22 for him is that pesky sworn affidavit to the judge requesting permission for the records seizure. Would the judge have granted that if Holder had said that prosecuting Rosen--this target of their investigation, this danger to national security and a real flight risk--is not something he would ever even think of?
So, which is it, Holder? You either lied to congress or grossly misled the court to get your Genuine, Official Trample the Constitution Permit. Pick your poison.
