CNNs Drew Griffin broke into Wolf Blitzers Newsroom report Wednesday afternoon to reveal new information about the investigation into the IRS admission that they targeted conservatives during the 2012 election year.
Griffin said a Congressional source told him that the acting commissioner of the IRS, Steven Miller, has identified two rogue employees in the agencys Cincinnati office, who he characterized as off the reservation. The commissioner reportedly said the two, as yet unnamed, employees were principally responsible for overly aggressive handling of Tea Party requests for tax exempt status over the past two years. Another source, according to Griffin, said that Miller confirmed that two employees have already been disciplined.
I suspect a lot of Republicans, especially, but there are a bunch of Democrats outraged by this as well, Blitzer said, are going to suggest this may just be the tip of the iceberg, if you will. Theyre going to want to see who else could be implicated in this.

Obama is not responsible for any of the current scandals. He inherited the culture of corruption from the previous administration.
You’re right. The American people don’t want to stop the gravy train. America — Land of the Free — now has a whole new meaning.
I think Obama should re-deliver his Ohio commencement speech telling young people not to listen to anyone who says government might do bad things.
He shouldn’t be let anywhere near young people.
BUT the Cincinatti IRS office (which seems to have done most of the hands-on dirty work) is the one that controls all the battleground states that Obama needed to win in the last election.
Obama's own political support organizations (even outside of the country!) got fast-tracked........BUT any organization he thought might oppose him in those crucial states got silenced or prevented from collecting funds during the time leading up to the elections.
Hatch Act rules.
99.999% chance that someone in the Obama administration gave the order, or there was some kind of sweet deal or incentive for these so called rogue employees (from the Obama administration).
"What buck? I never saw a buck. The buck never got here. Bush must have taken the buck." - Barry H. Obama
This is the way the Mob works. It's SOP for our Mobbed up Prez. No one rats out the Don.
Obama’s speech was loaded with bull squat anyway. I don’t know any conservatives who believe that the government is the root of all problems. That would make us anarchists, no? We do, however, believe that liberals are the root of most problems with government.
and have already been disciplined.
What does that mean? Fired? Wrote up? What?
I hope criminal charges are coming.
yAy¡ The media is back in lockstep!
One more thing, how were these two supervised? It would seem that if there are any productivity metrics recorded and analyzed by management they would have stuck out and been flagged when it suddenly took so long to get anything done. Those records, and office procedures need to be subpoena.
If by “disciplined” he means drawn and quartered I want to see corpses.
LOL...yep, you said it best.
“What did the President know and when did he know it?”
Interesting comment. Only one politician BRAVE enough to press the question would be CRUZ.
Then why did the director resign? “Off the reservation” and “rogue” imply he knew nothing about it..
It is IMPOSSIBLE for 2 rogue employees to do what was done. Congress better put on their big boy britches and slap this down right now.
We already know three separate offices were involved, so who coordinated the assault by the whole IRS on 0bama’s opponents?
These foot soldiers better start blowing their whistles before they become another victim of Obamacide...
