Poll: 29% of Registered Voters Believe Armed Revolution Might Be Necessary in Next Few Years May 2, 2013 By Gregory Gwyn-Williams, Jr. Subscribe to Gregory Gwyn-Williams, Jr. RSS
Twenty-nine percent of registered voters think that an armed revolution might be necessary in the next few years in order to protect liberties, according to a Public Mind poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University.
The poll, which surveyed 863 registered voters and had a margin of error of +/-3.4, focused on both gun control and the possibility of a need for an armed revolution in the United States to protect.
The survey asked whether respondents agreed, disagreed, neither agreed nor disagreed or did not know or refused respond to the statement: "In the next few years, an armed revolution might be necessary in order to protect our liberties"
Twenty-nine percent said they agreed, 47 percent said they disagreed, 18 percent said they neither agreed nor disagreed, 5 percent said they were unsure, and 1 percent refused to respond.

Hahahaha. The federal government is not going to allow secession, remember last time?
There will be no piecemeal liberation of the country, it will be the whole shebang or nothing.
“allow”?? lmao. You’re actually thinking of asking permission? That’s a real knee slapper!
Don’t be a smart aleck. Allow as in the god damn army is controlled by the President just like it was in 1861.
Liberation is not coming via the state governments it has to come from the people. It’s people versus the government not state governments versus the federal government. Most state governments are crap even the Republican ones. I sincerely doubt any state government other than maybe Texas would ever even seriously consider trying to secede under any circumstances. The government is pernicious, at every level.
interesting
I don't think you get it ... Zero is GOING TO DO IT one way or the other. It is better that he do it NOW than later ... when our side is even weaker. Keeping a low profile only gives a false impression that their side is stronger than what it is ... at this point
As noted earlier, “don’t shoot until you see the whites of their eyes.”
Far too premature.
I am a REALIST and as I said earlier and have pointed out repeatedly other places, the day that this country’s problems are fixed at the ballot box are FINISHED. If you do not understand that, then you are spinning your wheels in ways you do not even understand.
Peaceful or otherwise a separation via secession IS the only thing that will work.
No, secession is like a divorce, sometimes necessary due to irreconcilable differences, anything else is cruel and stupid. Secession breaks the revolution cycle.
The standing Army of the USA is tiny compared to the population of any region. Take the South, with a population of 100,000,000. The standing Army, when not almost entirely deployed overseas, is ONLY 1,000,000 tops. Half would join the secession. Leaving 500,000 to police 100,000,000? What a joke.
Is a de jure secession necessary?
We could achieve a de facto secession through strict state level enforcement of the 10th amendment.
Of course, the first time a state attempted to thwart federal enforcement agents, there’d be a fight anyway.
You’ll find Freepers that live in deep blue states hate secession talk. They would rather hope in vane for revolution than a secession. To them it is better that we all go down in flames. Screw them. If the were real conservatives THEY WOULD VOTE WITH THEIR FEET and leave their current abode in commie land, this case Illinois, and move South.
FedGov is a paper tiger. No time in history has the standing army been SO small compared to the general population, with 50% is deployed overseas.. I know technology has made a soldier of today equal to 10 soldiers of WWI, But it is still impossible to be at two places at the same time.

Talk to people in states you’re interested in walking to freedom, etc.
This is just getting started as of about a month ago.
What the hell did I say about about the ballot box? Not a thing. You clearly misunderstood me, I guess I was vague.
I’m staying state governments are not going to help us. By “the people” I did not mean voters.
Amen.
I have lived in Texas before and I may again.
