Just hung up, well, they hung up on me, from someone called "Tea Party Patriots".
Of course they wanted money, touted the Constitution, etc.
I told this woman the most important thing right now is the 2nd amendment, and where in these few issues she was spewing about fell.
She started to speak of the Constitution, etc....I cut her off stating they are trying to take away our guns. Registration leads to confiscation; hence, termination.
She skirted around this but I would not allow her. I again asked her WHERE does the right to bear arms fit in and again, she gave me the run around.
I advised her if she wanted to make any progress with her "phone calls" that should be the #1 issue.
I reminded her once again....registration leads to confiscation.....then termination.
She hung up on me.
Anyone get any similar calls?
We need to refer to it as the US Constitution and not pick and choose sections of it. That's how we got to where we're at. John McCain asks "what are you afraid of?"
It's the US Constitution. Period!
That is exactly what I experienced.....the impatience from what I had to say.
RED FLAG!
They want us to register. Registration leads to confiscation, which leads to mass slaughter.
History of ALL tyrants began this way.
Anybody who wonders why there are no longer the BIG Tea Party Rallies like there was before need to realize that it's hard to organise rallies against leaders whose legitimacy is in question. Resolve this issue and I guarantee you WILL again see the HUGE Tea Party Rallies come back against Big Government and High Taxes.
Why rally against those we question should even be in power?
Thanks for posting this topic, NoGray.
Seems it needed coverage. Opened my eyes. I’m a sucker for anything Tea Party—went to the first one on the steps of the capitol in Atlanta, Feb, 2009, in the rain.
I salute you.
If you’re calling me, begging for money, you best have ALL your facts straight.
If you don’t then yes, I will treat you like EVERY other telemarketer.
You don’t like it, don’t take the job.
I recall some news reports around election time last year of ‘fake’ calls using the Tea Party references to raise money.
==
Be cautious of anyone calling as fundraisers. When I had a landline, I frequently got calls from the Fraternal Order of Police or Sheriffs, etc.
The argument in the Senate should be: Do we continue with the US Constitution or do we throw it out and start a new one?
THIS is what it’s all about and yes it’s true History of ALL tyrants began this way but the truth is, we let this pResident trample on the US Constitution so much (thank you, John Boehner) that we’re now suddenly expecting that it stop?
There should be no gun debate from this pResident who wants background checks while he spent millions hiding his own past to the point where many question whether or not he’s even legally eligible to be POTUS.
A lot of questions about this man, none of them resolved yet he’s in his 5th year in the WH.
Very UN-American
Didn’t expect that, so thanks!
I just wanted to alert anyone who receives a call from “the Tea Party anything” to question them.
Matthew 7:17-21 -
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
“That’s because she’s not a historian, she’s a telemarketer. Organizations hire these people to help fund raise money.”
You just nailed the problem...THESE are professional lobbyists hijacking he TEA PARTY label. Grass root orgs, which is what the Tea party is supposed to be, would have volunteers, not paid hacks with a ‘virtual office’ on the east coast like teaparty.net & TPNN have...and it’s the same ‘virtual’ office for $149 a month.
Actually, that was the 1st thing I thought of, which is why I wasn’t so nice.
At 1st I was, hearing “Tea Party”; however, once I brought up the 2nd Amendment it was all down hill from there.
Suddenly the penny dropped.
Bloomberg and his anti-gun organization are doing the equivalent of “push polling”, except it really does cross over the line to “wire fraud”.
He is using the same technique that George Soros did in setting up fake Catholic organizations, often with no Catholics in them, then trying to solicit donations from Catholics. The intent was that Catholics would unknowingly pay for the anti-Catholic agenda, thinking they were giving money to a pro-Catholic organization.
Importantly, any Catholic who mistakenly sent them money was listed as a “Catholic supporter” of the anti-Catholic organization.
In this case, Bloomberg’s group announced it was planning to do something like almost a year ago. The emphasis is to “close the gun show loophole”, with mandated background checks. They planned TV and radio ads, fake polls, and other low rent dirty political tricks.
Not only is this thing UN-American, it is, to me, simply evil.
Perhaps a minion to the set up of the anti-christ.
My only solace (Lord forgive me) is that it will be tossed away like month old garbage.....as ALL evil should be.
Good grief, if they are paid these people make maybe minimum wage + commission. Otherwise they could be volunteers. They're telemarketers not history majors. They don't decide what issues the organization is focusing on at the moment. They don't need a lecture from you. They call from a list and have a script. The Tea Party Patriots is a good organization. If you don't want to give them anything right now, just say no thanks. If you don't want them calling again, ask if they'll remove you from their list. They are a political organization so they don't have too, but maybe they will.

Take a look at that post. These people are simply NOT trying to sell you a product.
The Tea Party IS NOT a product but a collective group of people against the tyranny our government whom is trying to shove up our collective butts.
If you cannot disingue between the two perhaps you belong on another site.
That looks interesting.
What is your problem? There are LOTS of TEA Party groups - from local to national. And many/most of them RAISE MONEY to fund the cause.
Here is the Tea Party Patriots:
http://www.teapartypatriots.org/
And here is their wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_Patriots
There is nothing with them. They are a good organization. You don't have to contribute. Perhaps you'd prefer to give your money to the NRA right now since the left is pushing hard on gun control. There are LOTS of pressing issues. Everything from stopping new gun control, to protecting marriage, to derailing Obamacare. Pick your cause and give what you can. There is no reason for you to be a jerk to the telemarketer for the Tea Party Patriots. Good grief.
I have no affiliation whatsoever .. it just works like a champ !
