Chipotle Mexican Grill has pulled its sponsorship of Utah's "Scout-O-Rama" because of the Boy Scouts of America's long-standing ban on gays.
The popular Colorado-based restaurant chain initially signed on to provide about $4,200 worth of coupons to the Utah Boy Scouts' annual event, scheduled for May 4 in a Salt Lake City suburb. The Boy Scouts' Great Salt Lake Council is one of the largest in the country, with the majority of troops sponsored by Mormon churches.

Lines are drawn. You’re with the homos or against them.
This issue is a winnowing fork.
Are you wheat or chaff?
Never eaten at a Chipotle. Guess I never will.
One more restaurant on the “Do Not Patronize” list.
Never been to one, never will go now. I am SICK of the gay agenda.
What with this and the new firearms laws, Colorado seems intent on joining the vanguard of Leftist states such as New York, Minnesota, California and so on.
Personally, I never eected to see it, but if it can happen in Colorado, it can happen anywhere.
What’s next - Texas?
I’ve got the bad feeling that the BSA may eventually get a deathblow.
Time for Chick-Fil-A!
We had Chipotle for lunch — guess it was the last time.
It’s good stuff, but you’ll be alright without it.
I have no problem with a company remaining consistent. However, this isn’t consistent. You make a commitment to make a sponsorship, you see it through, and then announce that this is the last go. Pulling out before the event is cheap theatrics.
A shame that Chipotle decided to do this, so much for dinner tonight.
$4200 worth of COUPONS! Oh the horror! /sarc
That’s a shame. I actually really enjoyed their food.
Colo was >+5 for Baraq in 2012.
I think it’s a lost cause.
Sad to see another one descend into the solid blue column.
Chipotle hates straight people.
The BSA national organization can suffer massive blows, but BSA itself, the various troops and councils, have little need to go debase themselves before corporate policies.
In this case, it’s a small amount of coupons compared to the 15,000 attendees; the same type of pack I’ve gotten from Chipotle for other community events, and pretty much what you’d get if you simply wrote them about your community event.
A bad decision on their part.
That, being the chain that was caught a few years ago with rampant hiring of illegals.
I’ve never eaten there either, and mostly likely won’t.
Wow, that was such a tremendous gift. (not) FReep 'em, and all their sodomite customers.
What an epically bad decision if true. I send corp a message. No more staff lunches 2,3 times a week with my budget $. Nope. Geez this is dumb.
when a business corporation puts its investor’s funds into a political campaign to undermine American society or basic human morality,
it has lost my custom.
Can you post up a copy? Is it everybody but Chik-fil-A?
I started a list with retail stores a few years back but after we ran out of names to shop at, I threw in the towel.
