.
Putin is less of a socialist than Obama , bill Clinton( who wanted a tax on savings etc) or any democrat in the U.S.A.

Absolutely possible.
Why anyone would keep their savings in any bank located in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Spain, France, or Portugal is a mystery. Get it out why you still can...

It’s why I have no money in any such account. Well, beyond my paycheck that gets autodeposited. But it means there is less than one paycheck’s worth of risk to me.

Well of course they didn’t. Its just funny that the Russians who usually don’t give a flying fig what’s going on are suddenly outraged about something. Only because all the Russian Oligarchs park their money tax free in the Cyprus banks.

Smart move. You can bet Mr. Skittles is watching this and just drooling to do it here in the USA.

Putin, certified assh*le and former KGB head though he is, understands more about free market economics that your average Democrat is willing to learn.

Just goes to show that a hungry government will steal your money just like a hungry street thug will. The difference is the govt has access to your bank and retirement accounts.
