Andrea Mitchell isn't about to let a good hurricane go to waste in her push for economy-wrecking climate change regulations.
On her MSNBC show today, Andrea Mitchell claimed that recent weather events including Superstorm Sandy have "taught us if nothing else, that we have a real climate problem and that we have to deal with this here even if the rest of the world isn't going to deal with it in China and elsewhere."

So what if China doesn’t want to wreck its economy? That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t wreck ours! Ping to Today show list.
Love all these media types professing to be climate change experts...
Good grief! Seldom have I seen more confident ignorance. Yes, the climate is changing. No, we dont know what causes it, and even if so, it is not with the power of the USA to stop countries like China from doing what they want.
You're a better man than I...
Andrea, how about we build a very tall fence to keep climate change from other countries out?
My ninth grader’s science teacher still shows the Al Gore “Inconvenient Truth” movie. I butted heads with this teacher several years ago when my current college senior was in his high school class. I didn’t bother this time. I just vomit, and pray for Jesus to come.
As Robert Heinlein once wrote, “Climate is what you expect. Weather is what you get.”...........
As I’ve explained, I protect my TV from myself with sturdy chicken-wire fencing, just like the stage at the country music bar where the Blues Brothers performed ;-)
Especially along our southern border, to keep out the Mexi-cains.........
Superstorm Sandy!!!
BWHAHAHAHAAAAAAA - the only “super” thing about it is the inability of the local and federal govts ability to respond.
This woman was declared nuts ages ago. Why listen to her prattle?
What a maroon.
2012 US coal consumption - 25 year low (thanks shale gas) of about 0.875 Billion tons.
2012 World Coal consumption including the US BUT NOT INCLUDING CHINA about 4.2 billion tons.
2012 CHINA coal consumption about 3.8 billion tons and rising. It was 2.4 billion tons in 2005.
The current trends makes it likely China alone will consume about 4.0 to 4.1 billion tons in 2013 - the same as the rest of the world.
The US estimate for 2013 coal consumption is 0.84 billion tons.
Andrea should go it alone with her thoughts and opinions, but leave the rest of us alone.
Andrea Mitchell wouldn’t even know there were storms if they didn’t occasionally hit the east coast.
Card carrying member of the CFR - why would she front as a legitimate journalist?
Come on, she is married to the guy who was the expert on the economy and lending practices.
Andrea is an idiot, even the UN Climate Panel is now admitting that there hasn’t been any measurable global warming for 16 years and that they now believe the sun’s output may be responsible for temperature variations on earth (like who didn’t see that coming). Perhaps Andrea should also talk with Al Gore who is now rolling in Arab oil money and lives in a seaside mansion that according to the dire warnings in his movie should by now be under water.
Can we please stop using the media-created code word 'Superstorm' when describing Hurricane Sandy? That's their jumping-off point to call for destructive regulation to 'control' the non-problem of the Great Socialist Climate Hoax, with the real purpose of controlling *us*.
