What a maroon.

2012 US coal consumption - 25 year low (thanks shale gas) of about 0.875 Billion tons.

2012 World Coal consumption including the US BUT NOT INCLUDING CHINA about 4.2 billion tons.

2012 CHINA coal consumption about 3.8 billion tons and rising. It was 2.4 billion tons in 2005.

The current trends makes it likely China alone will consume about 4.0 to 4.1 billion tons in 2013 - the same as the rest of the world.

The US estimate for 2013 coal consumption is 0.84 billion tons.

Andrea should go it alone with her thoughts and opinions, but leave the rest of us alone.

"Andrea should go it alone with her thoughts and opinions "

You are giving her far too much credit for having thoughts of her own. It's obvious that her brain is a vacant as her prattle. She is simply mouthing the propaganda of her dying 'news' room. Ignore them.
