Normally, I don’t to the vanity thing, but I think this “Glenn Beck Plan” needs to be Freeper analyzed and dissected.
First let me say, Glenn Beck has done a great service to America and I really appreciate his Tea Party, patriotic events and leadership. I thought his TV program was fantastic. I enjoy listening to his serious radio discussions, but he and the gang get a little too rambunctious and off the wall at times. That said:
Did anyone else hear Beck this morning talking options for dealing with an Obama gun control and possible gun confiscation effort? What am I missing with this plan?
Frankly, Beck makes me a little nervous sometime with some of his rants, and this was one.
I was multitasking, reading FR, checking the market and halfheartedly listening to Beck in the background. At around 11:00 AM EST, Beck and crew are talking about Obama and the gun control gang and he starts talking about what to do if they begin actively confiscating guns. His planned for resistance to tyranny is to overwhelm the legal/prison the system. ??????????
As I understood Beck: If they come for your guns we should let them arrest all of us, and overwhelm the system. I guess he thinks the legal and penal system can’t handle all of us if we do the MLK/Gandhi peaceful resistance technique. Kumbaya!!
Let me walk through what I think Beck was suggesting we do (as I understood him.)
BECK PLAN
The Feds come to the door and ask about your gun possession.
You admit you have them, but they can’t have them. You affirm your 2nd Amendment rights and tell them to arrest you.
We all do this and grind the legal system to a rapid halt. They can’t arrest everyone can they?
Beck says: To resist with force in numbers would guarantee that we lose. .
He also says: To peacefully resist in mass, we win by breaking the system. .
Will this plan somehow ensure that law and order, respect for private property and the Constitution are miraculously re-established?
Let me propose an alternative theory on how this might work out in Realville and why Beck’s scenario fails if firearms owners are foolish enough to try this.
The Feds realize quickly that they can’t fill up all the gulags with all the peaceful gun control resisters. So they change the collection technique.
Flexible Obama Confiscation Plan
Arrive at suspected noncompliant gun owner’s home.
Search warrant in hand, 3 -4 LEO’s question owner on possession.
Law respecting/abiding gun owner admits/denies he has undeclared/unregistered gun & asserts 2nd Amendment rights.
Arrest him, “search & destroy mission” in gun owner’s domicile. Terrorize family.
Collect firearms, ammo, etc. .
Gun owner goes to jail for day or 2 until substantial bail is met. .
Big legal bills for attorney and court date. .
Quick, simple trial for “open & shut” case on illegal possession. .
How about a fine of $5,000 per firearm, suspended sentence. .
Felony criminal conviction on his record. Loss of right to own/possess firearms in future. Loss of voting rights. Loss of certain employment opportunities, etc., etc. .
Finally, no guns, no freedom, no money, no job. Just Obama and his thuggorcracy making the criminals out of law abiding, patriotic American citizens..
Should I have been listening to Beck a little more closely? What am I missing? Do Obama and his thuggocracy all of a sudden begin to play by the rules and respect the rule of law?
Strange and dangerous times and more so everyday.
Will have to bail on the conversation for now. (Money to earn and bills to pay.) Guess I’m one of the fortunate few Americans who still has a job for now, in spite of Obamanomics.

The problem is that once you surrender to the criminal justice system, you can’t ever get out of it.
People will simply hide their guns and not give them up.
I sense an “angry backlash” is coming.
On the other hand they could by executive order take you to re-education camps in the Southwest as has been recommended by bill ayers and bernedette dohrn, where 25 to 30 million will be found to be un-educatable and will have to be eliminated. I don’t believe they would have a problem if it were to run 50 to 60 million, except of course the mechanics of killing and disposing on such a large scale.
One thing that bothers me about the democrats anxiety to deprive me of firearms is all the liberals I see wearing che t-shirts and those in the obama administration who go around quoting chairman mao, and those czars who have written books on or otherwise endorse population control. I believe one of the criteria for population control will be those who don’t support them.
Yep, I subscribed to GBTV back at the beginning, but that was about the time he really started to make me sick.

Wait until the first 5 or ten people use one of these "illegal" guns to pretect themselves. They will be villianized, jailed and/or bankrupted.financially ruined.
People will have to weigh using the firearm or enduring all that above.

Given the numbers, I think conflict favors law abiding gun owners. Lots of military and police like having their own personal weapons to protect themselves and family.

There is not going to be any large-scale gun confiscation.
What's going on now is more psyops than anything else; an attempt to demonize gun owners in popular consciousness.
But it reeks of desperation more than anything else. This push is 100% elite media/govt driven. I think they realize they've lost the gun debate with the American people.
If there is some kind of gun registry effort, and Americans comply with it to any greater degree than they did in Canada, we deserve our chains.

Peaceful resistance will be crushed. We aren’t dealing with 19th century Britain or 1960’s America. We have a government admin that is perfectly fine with mass murder.
Glenn Beck is too wedded to the MLK/Ghandi shtick. Part of his persona/strategy last few years is total non-violence, no matter what. Wear white shirts so the blood shows.
But I think our Stalin-wannabees would welcome the chance to create ever larger “detention camps” for bitter clingers. The more the better.
The Germans never said, “Gee! We have arrested too many Jews. The system is overwhelmed! We give up!”
They hearded the Jews into Ghettos, and then trains to Treblinka. The more the better.

They would trash your house, terrorize the kids, stomp the pets, AND “deport” dad and mom to a camp. Then, “adopt” the children to some nice DHS employees who always wanted kids of their own to raise. Same-sex couples have a hard time conceiving, or so I hear.
