Retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal called for “serious” gun control measures on Tuesday, saying the weapons used by his troops in Afghanistan don’t belong on the streets of America. McChrystal said the M4 Carbine he often carried in the military held a .223 caliber round capable of doing “devastating” damage to a human body.
“It’s designed to do that, and that’s what our soldiers ought to carry,” McChrystal said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Tuesday morning. “I personally don’t think there’s any need for that kind of weaponry on the streets and particularly around the schools in America."

Thanks for your service General. Now shut up and remember we are not led by the military and soldiers do not make policy. I am glad to see that professional military types recognize the threat an armed population represents.
I personally think a lot of things. The Constitution restates that I have a God given right to be armed against tyrants who like to enforce their personal opinions on others.
If he is frightened by the .223, he is going to truly pee himself over the rest of my rifles.
