I ordered a bunch of mags a while back and currently have more on back order. Will probably order some more and hope they come in.

I was referring to the NRA which has supported all major gun control laws in the last 90 years.

They do some good stuff but have a serious case of bi-polar at times.

“there was an increase in crime due to the presence of weapons which previously were outlawed.”

Her crime numbers fail to notice that while “assault weapons” were banned, trivially different guns remained available and sales thereof surged. It’s as if red cars were banned, and crashes involving red cars fell slightly, then they are legalized and crashes involving red cars increased - then claiming the ban on red cars worked, and ignoring other relevant statistics.

.

Will Di-Fi keep banning until she finally gets to the original antique and currently manufactured single-shot Sharps rifles and Colt Single Action Army revolvers?

- You betcha.....

Only after forcing you to pay a $200 ATF tax just to keep them and then arresting you when you miss the renewal date.

I did the very same thing. High capacity magazines for all my firearms. I even gave a couple away to a close friend for Christmas. I'm not looking past ammo for certain calibers either...

We need to send about 10,000 copies of this to the GOP.

Actually, "Big Gov't" aka The First Galactic Empire, skipped the lightsabers and went straight for killing all the Jedi.....something most liberals would love to duplicate with conservative firearm owners.

Unfortunately DiFi will only leave the Senate on her own terms or horizontally. As one of the “sainted ones,” she’ll never be defeated electorally.

Same with AR’s. There are three AR firms where I live (Rock River Arms, Armalite, and Lewis tool). They shut down for the year, and don’t appear to be in a hurry to start up. Another one, Les Bear, is worried that they will be out of business soon.

This is real. This isn’t a pr exercise. I do not understand those who claim a ban can not happen.

[Background check of owner and any transferee;

Type and serial number of the firearm;

Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;

Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law]

How would that have prevented what happened in CT?

Good points regarding the ARs. What so many fail to realize is that to an extent, a gun ban is already in effect. The fact that people (and manufacturers) believe that a ban is coming is causing a gun and ammo run. It's a sociological reaction similar to a bank run. Whether there will be a true assault weapons ban is not the driving factor, it's the fact that people and manufacturors believe there will be one.

Doesn’t CT already have most of those controls in place?

It's time to draw a line in the sand, and let it be known that we will not accept this unconstitutional law, and will resist by any means necessary. You have to draw a line in the sand at some point. Individuals and organizations need to make this pledge.
We are in dire times that our years of inaction have destroyed all hope of restoring a united constitutional nation. Instead of letting it collapse overnight causing mass chaos we are better off planning our breakup through state alliances, and economic and defense plans for a new nation. We are going to collapse regardless, and if we just let it happen we will be extremely more vulnerable to foreign interference along with many other problems. We have to accept our options at this point; they are not good because of generations of inaction.

You can't work within our unconstitutional system expecting to change things for the better. We have lost so many of our constitutional rights that it sickens me. We have lost our country, and that's something that can't be revered at this point. We can however salvage the little that is left of what our nation was built on through planned succession of areas that may be able to be saved; along with planning for the formation of a new union with a new constitution based on the one our tyrannical government disregarded long ago.

This has to be the last straw. Our second amendment right was given to us by our founding fathers to protect ourselves from these exact people who are trying to take this away from us. Our right to bear arms was given so we could engage in violent rebellion against the exact tyrants we keep trying to work with like fools. Anyone who gives up this right without using it the way our founding fathers intended are disgraceful cowards.

Ask any professional gunfighter what firearm they would choose to use in a gunfight, and probably 98% would choose an AR-15 or its functional equivalent.

Why? Because it's the most effective tool with which to win the fight, with "winning," in this case, meaning continuing to live.

If you wish to live on the edge, and handicap yourself in any gunfight for your life, that's your right. Limit your firepower, make sighting more difficult, use a less effective cartridge...go right ahead. It will certainly make the experience more exciting.

Just don't make that choice for me. AR-15's, in the hands of law-abiding citizens, are no more dangerous to innocent people than any other firearm.

The “mood” of half the country is such that we’re “on the edge”. It’s a powder keg. Folks aren’t buying record amounts of hardware so they can sheepishly turn them over when the govthugs “ask” them to.

And the other half love their overlords like the Tories. The status quo, DWTS, the Kardasians and glowing screens are the parties and snuff of the day.

“I want to see a list of what weapons are on the banned list, it better not have the word Glock anyplace on it.”

From what I read, if the gun can hold ten or more bullets, it’s banned. If you already have one, it’s grandfathered except you have to register it and a background check is done on you to determine if you can keep it.

Agreed. AND, we put forth a demand of a 4473 style form and background check through NICS for voting.

They want to play games, let’s play hard ball. They cannot say a word about using a 4473 for voting when they find no problem with one for the Civil Right of RKBA.

We need to force expansion of the same restrictions to RKBA to other areas or force them to back off of RKBA. If we can get 4473 style background checks for voting, it’ll curb a lot of voter fraud. Spread the word on this and watch what happens.

I’m not a liberal. I’m a conservative woman who has never hunted and never been around guns. With regard to firearms of any kind, I am woefully ignorant. I know a rifle from a handgun, but that’s about it. The closest exposure I’ve ever had to them was if I was standing by a policeman or a guard who had one holstered. I’ve never really seen a need to have one. That may change.
