In January, Senator Feinstein will introduce a bill to stop the sale, transfer, importation and manufacturing of military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devises.
Following is a summary of the 2013 legislation:
Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of:
-120 specifically-named firearms -Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one military characteristic -Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds

This bill is a smokescreen. The real goal is to slip the Small Arms Treaty through the Senate, which would take but 34 votes if Dirty Harry gets sneaky enough about it.
No federal agency may allow the sale and transportation of any weapon across borders for the purpose of manipulating the American public. In the event such weapons are allowed to be transported across borders and any citizen of the brodering country is harmed or killed or any US citizen is harmed or killed the president of the United States shall be impeached, Congress shall be removed from office and all Federal employees will have a 90% reduction in pay.

Does a tube feed count as a magazine? If so Marlin .22 model 60, 11 million in circulation will be targeted.
That only counts after you’ve been convicted of something. There will be many millions of un-convicted criminals under a law like this but it won’t prevent them from voting. Being a felon in possession of illegal firearms would somewhat of a moot point.

- Yes I have personally listed to the tape recording of Feinstein’s California office staffers denying that that she owned and carried a pistol because she actually owned and carried a revolver. Yes - there may or may not be certain people at the NRA and elsewhere that may or may not have specific knowledge of such a tape.
It might be quite helpful if somebody on FR could put together info files (like “THE OBAMA FILES”) on the many lying gun-carrying creeps like Di-Fi and Smucky Schemer
Include Hillary “Rodham” Clinton, John “Big-Daddy” Edwards, and Barack “Blow” Hussein Obama II - all of them lied on nationwide live TV during the 2008 democratic debates when they were asked to raise their hand if they ever lived in a residence that had firearms within - none of those three raised a hand

“Gun owners as a percentage of the population are actually decreasing. Fewer & fewer citizens own more & more of the guns.”
“Enthusiasm for assault weapons is a mostly white male thing.”
“The impetus for change has to start locally. Find out which of your neighbors own guns & challenge them to explain how their gun rights are more important than dead kindergartners.”
Sounds Alinsky to me: isolate, minimize, & belittle those who disagree with the agenda to create a better world.
I want all voters ID’d and fingerprinted. Feinstein can chew on that for a while.

With a bus out front to take into custody all those with outstanding warrants. In Atlanta alone, you would need a line of buses bigger than the high school at 3 PM.
Sorry, Ron but you are mistaken. My brother-in-law has lived there for 25+ years and he has to “register” per the link below. So, you are either ignorant of the sorry law, violating the law, or misleading readers of this thread. Not meaning to offend, but incorrect info needs to be challenged.

Doesn’t FOPA effectively ban gun registration, except for machine guns and silencers?

Maybe it was the gun store policy, I don't know but I remember having to do it.
As an aside, the gun shop I am referring to was B & B in No. Hollywood. It's the same shop the cops went to to get heavier arms in the B of A robbery and subsequent shoot out.
Concealed carry laws are probably one reason, plus the idea that certain guns might be banned, but if you already own one, you will be "grandfathered."
People might be surprised at how many "little old ladies" have a gun in the house.
