I didn’t eat too much but we got so many cookies and some homemade candy. So we have to eat it all up before the new year and diet/exercise.

I’m in trouble. My 80yo mom sent me a box of cookies that weighs half as much as she does.

And they’re not ordinary cookies. She’s from Europe and makes those extravagant scrumptious things that are beyond temptation and with double the sin.

Sigh. My ass is already growing into an alien entity. It’ll be a rough and spartan spring to get it out of waddle and back into gear.

Had to work, but I’m off now. It was as busy today as it was Christmas eve! Yikes! Hope you are doing well!

I'm doing a little better than I was yesterday, thanks! I should be able to go back to work tomorrow. Went to see my PCP this morning - learned that my blood work taken during my hospitalization disclosed a severe Vitamin B-12 deficiency. Serious consequences if not addressed. I'm set for weekly B-12 injections for the next few weeks and monthly injections thereafter for the rest of my life. They didn't mention this when I was discharged from the hospital.

Amazing the things that they either don’t disclose or they “forget” to let you know about so you can make the corrections!

I wonder if that is what is making you black out. I say, take vacation time and stay home for some much-needed rest. But that’s just me. :)

Wish I could take some vacation - can't at the present. The B-12 deficiency is a possible cause of my blacking out - one of the symptoms is rapid heartbeat and palpitations. I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation several years ago.

LOL...well enjoy them while you can. Come Jan 1 you'll have to do something about working off those "extravagant scrumptious things." Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (although maybe not so Happy when we have to diet and exercise off all the goodies), fattigermaster.
