A very pleasant good morning to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Well good morning and ((HUGS)) to everybody. Wednesday Morning Coffee Bump.

We had a blizzard here in Southwest Oklahoma yesterday. I would estimate 2 to 3 inches of snow on the ground right now. There were some whiteout conditions for a time.

Temperatures this morning are running in the teens this morning. It's bone chilling cold outside here in Oklahoma this morning.

Spent much of yesterday in the house. I expect we'll spend much of today in the house too. All of that snow needs to melt off before I can go anywhere.

~ Tonight...Windy. Showers early
becoming widely scattered overnight.
Low 38F. NNE winds shifting to W at 20 to 30 mph.
Chance of rain 50%.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope your Christmas was special.
Mine was good cause I got to see my two sons
and all four grandchildren.
Had nice dinner with parents and most of my siblings.

We didn't have a white Christmas
but we're getting a little flurry this morning.
Just enough to give a lite covering.
Probably changing over to sleet/rain later.

Not hanging around long.
Just wanted to check on our FRiends
out west who may have been
affected by the bad weather.

Time for me to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Entertain the troops or
chat up a family member.

Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS

Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Almost Happy New Year, where did 2012 go??!

Our weather here in W. Oregon has been pretty typical; wet but still not freezing!

Had a great time with son-boy, and because of the rain we mainly stayed indoors and played video games and of course watched College football.

Really need more coffee today...

This was our first Christmas without our daughter being home, so we will wait until she gets here to open gifts. No bad weather, but very cold.
