Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and loved ones.
The food was AWESOME. It was delivered by my sister from the city on Wednesday. She came down to visit but in the process of getting the box out with the food left her keys in the car.
We had to call in a locksmith from Duncan to come down and get the car which is a 2005 Lexus opened up. Needless to say the car horns honking was listenable all over town.
In any event it opened and she went back to the city.
It's always a good idea to have an extra set of keys in your pocket when things like this happen. Wherever I go I always carry one sometimes two extra sets of keys so I don't end up getting locked out of my pickup.
We've had some nice weather the last few days but this morning, it's rather cool and windy. Hearing some reports of grass fires around the area on the scanner. People need to be careful about that this morning.

So glad you had a good time and good food with your sister, but sorry that her keys got locked in her car. That is a bummer....and really expensive to have to call a locksmith!
Have a great weekend! (((hugs)))

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to the Canteen! Enjoy the leftovers!
(Seriously, Leftover Sunday used to be the second-biggest meal of the year, and some of the side dishes tasted better after they had to soak up some of the juice ... plus, Mom made more gravy, "just in case".)

Glad to see you had a wonderful dinner. Too bad about the keys locked in her car.
I’m with you...I always have a second set of keys on me.
Hope the grass fires are easily put out.

Good afternoon, Kathy!
*HUGS*
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Ours went quite well, although I was not well. We left before dessert. The turkey was fantastic, and the time with family and friends was priceless.

Good afternoon/evening, Mac...*HUGS*...sounds like the MacNessa men came through with a wonderful turkey.
Glad you had a good time with family and friends, even tho you were under the weather.
No dessert? Did the family at least get to take some home?
Hope you are resting comfortably and feeling a bit better today.
I’m at work catching up on stuff that is piled up. I will probably leave early.

We did get to take some home - and my Brother-in-Law, sterling gentleman that he is, sent me home with a bottle of Veuve Cliquot! My ex-wife took the laboring oar with regard to food preparation - she is magic in the Kitchen - the oyster stuffing was from her Grandmother's recipe.

Good evening to everyone at the Canteen. Had a nice second Thanksgiving visit with my sisters and their families at the farm today. My chocolate pie and mashed potatoes were a big hit as usual.

They were wonders. Nate was everywhere and in to everything. His favorate things were nibbling on the Sour Cream Coffee Cake, the Green Bean Casserole, and Pumpkin Pie.
