Unless the US clarifies its position regarding King Abdullah and reiterates its full backing for his regime, the Muslim fundamentalists are likely to step up there efforts to create anarchy and lawlessness in the kingdom.
. . . . .
Deputy State Department Spokesman Mark Toner managed to create panic [and anger] in the Royal Palace in Amman when he stated that there was "thirst for change" in Jordan and that the Jordanian people had "economic, political concerns," as well as "aspirations."

Still, the Jordanian-born al-Zarqawi made clear he was not about to stop the bloodshed, warning he will attack more tourist sites in Jordan and threatening to behead King Abdullah II.
He said he was targeting Jordan because it is serving as a "protector" for Israel, helps the U.S. military in Iraq and has become a "swamp of obscenity," with alcohol and prostitution in its tourist sites.
"Your star is fading. You will not escape your fate, you descendant of traitors. We will be able to reach your head and chop it off," al-Zarqawi said, referring to the king.

That’d make for a heckuva REality TV show plot. Get a Kardashian.. bingo. ;-]
Step Mother of a ruler, actually.
This must happen in order for Psalms 83 to be fulfilled.
“To all those who say obama is doing a poor job ,I say,no he is doing a VERY good job at what his true goal is:destroying freedom.”
I say that , too.
Abdullah I was assassinated on the Temple Mount in 1951 by a Palestinian. His Emirate, created by the British gained its independence from Great Britain in 1946. He is the Jordanian leader who actually occupied the West Bank, annexed it to his nation Trans-Jordan, and then renamed his nation Jordan. In September, 1970 Palestinians tried to overthrow the government of Jordan, and were expelled from the country into Lebanon.
Key point...The British created Trans-Jordan and placed a Saudi Prince on its throne (two-thirds of the Palestinian Mandate). This was the first Palestinian state created out of the Palestinian Mandate. Jewish settlers were told to withdraw from Jordanian soil, move west of the Jordan, reserved for them. The British then, because of Arab pressure, never establish Israel as a state (like they had created Trans-Jordan).
IIRC, King Abdullah is a graduate of Jeff Cooper’s Gunsite self-defense school.

Perhaps the revelation yesterday that a US amphibious landing flotilla with 2,500 Marines had done a U-turn in the Atlantic to return to the coast of Israel “for possible evacuation of US citizens from Israel (makes no sense)” was actually to stand by to evacuate US citizens from Jordan?
If my recollection is correct, Jordan is more of a homeland for the Palistinians, not Gaza or the West Bank.
The problem the Hashemite King Abdullah has now, is the so-called Palestinians now make up the largest group in Jordan, and they don't like the King because of past and ongoing poor treatment, and discrimination against them.
King Abdulla's minority ruling group in Jordan is going to be challenged; just like the Alawite Assad's minority group in Syria is currently being challenged by the much larger group of Sunni Muslims in Syria. -Tom
I was wondering when the royals would be targeted. All other autocrats in the region have certainly been dealt with. The Saudis...hmmm...that’s gonna leave a mark.
I have business in Jordan that I don’t want disturbed. This would be deeply distressing to me.
Kind of like that old cartoon of the wailing actress: “Global Thermonuclear War??? There goes my career!”
Deputy State Department Spokesman Mark Toner managed to create panic [and anger] in the Royal Palace in Amman when he stated that there was "thirst for change" in Jordan and that the Jordanian people had "economic, political concerns," as well as "aspirations."sidebars from the FRchives:
And for the first time, protesters in the Jordanian capital have been calling for overthrowing King Abdullah. In an unprecedented move, demonstrators last week tried to march on the monarch's palace in Amman in scenes reminiscent of anti-regime protests in Tunisia, Libya, Yemen and Egypt.
The Jordanian authorities claim that non-Jordanian nationals who infiltrated the border have been involved in the violence, the worst to hit the kingdom in decades. The authorities say that Saudi and Syrian Muslim fundamentalists are responsible for attacks on government offices and other institutions, including banks.
We were just talking about that: >>>>>>>>>>>>>
As usual we are just ahead of the ISlamofqascist devolutionary curve, BECAUSE WE HAVE THE CORRECT VIEW of what is happening. Much of this is organized by the Muslimm Brotherhood, and funded by the Arabs. The CIA is giving them intel, and supprting the overthrow of “colonially established regimes.”This is the black nationalist views of Malcolm X and the Symbionese Liberation Front of old , now taking shape as a result of Obama’s secret work.
Obama has hoodwinked NATO in Libya, and now is about to hoodwink our allies again using the United Nations. The legacy of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem is now becoming manifest. The seeds of a nuclear conflagration are now being sown.
Bibi must sh*t or get off the pot.
Well...one of Malcolm’s daughters recently said that obama was doing the same work her father was; they are/were COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS ON A WORLD SCALE, she said.
And she should know what her half-brother is up to.
