Somebody has tried to downplay the terror attack in Libya.
If that person is The President then I ask why?
If The President lied, Why would he lie?
Why did he lie?
Obamalinsky’s plan was a pre-election trade - Stevens for the Blind Sheikh - but those darn hero Seals chose to defend Stevens.
Or, it could have been Stevens for the 2 terrorists that were caught and being held in the Annex.
But I’m going with the Blind Sheikh - Obamalinsky wanted to free him somehow.

I agree 100 % , Benghazi was supposed to be a kidnapping —but it didn’t work out that way...so the won denied knowing anything about it......If it had gone his way he would have looked like a hero...more than just in his on eyes...
Well I guess we should follow the example of our fearless leader and say “NO” the next time someone asks us to swear on the bible and tell the truth.

Lying seems to come naturally with this bird, no offense to birds meant.
I believe from the vast collection of articles in the confusion of the aftermath of the Libyan event, which is still the rule today that there was some illicit operation going on that has to be covered up by the WH, or the event will trigger knowledge of abuse of power by the WH, and the political party he represents.
We won’t know the answer for some time yet as those that can answer are obviously threatened, and evading answering questions, as well others are working to sabotage investigations that could, would expose their leader, and their Political Party to difficulties.
The whole Obama presence is a manipulated theater.
It indicates his cowardly position to not defend Americans. It gave him a chance to lie and set up a straw man to make his fellow islamic leaders think he was down with the cause (The future does not belong to those who insult islam.) I get a little throw up in my mouth when I think of his UN performance and how Clinton lied to the father of the dead seal.
Because he botched the response.
A good President would’ve received word on the attack, ascertained that it was a coordinated terrorist attack, as the CIA knew ... and sent in the nearby Delta team to secure the facility and rescue the ambassador. My understanding is that, with quick action, this could’ve been done within a matter of hours — long before the Ambassador and SEALs were killed.
But, he didn’t. He waited around. He went to a fundraiser. He blamed it on a movie. And, people died. He lied because their blood is on his hands ... and he was up for reelection. He underestimated the threat, and catastrophically fumbled his role as CIC, and good men died because of it.

But releasing the blind Shake would have made 0zero look weak, I don’t see how that would have helped him in the election.
I agree with you 110%, anyone and everyone can say it is a kook conspiracy theory, I really don’t care it is the only thing that makes ANY sense. The only reason this commy admin would have not only not grant repeated pleas for more security, but decrease what was already there. He got together with other to put forth a talking point that would ELIMINATE ANY CULPABILITY. IMO that is ALL there is to it, that is why they all lied!!!
Because they are selling weapons to the Syrian rebels, which have fallen into the hands of Al Queda. They are lying to cover up what’s going on over there.
Why indeed? Seems the obvious answer is that he wanted to maintain the fiction of a peaceful Arab Spring and “his” elimination of AlQueda until the election. Any objective citizen can see that.
The process? I’ve been hearing the story of a hostage swap everywhere, and it may not fly. How’s this sound: he was allowing the ambassador to get taken hostage only to get tough and demand his release just before the election. A couple “rogue” cia/military guys refused to stand down and killed 40 muzzies, enraging the crowd... while Stevens hid in a safe room. The operation went FUBAR and Obama insisted on pushing the Youtube story against ALL logic.
And now the massive cover up. The sin may have been forgivable, but NOT a cover up of this size, Ask Nixon.
Because Valerie Jarrett ordered him to?
His base is easily fooled. He needed a certain segment of undecideds and independents to recapture glory. His lies helped him.
Because he stands to gain.
Th 54% who approve of him as of this past week would not see that as weak. They would see it as compassionate because that is how they are inculcated.
He is POTUS. He won. None of his supporters care beyond that.
