Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew "almost immediately" that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

I’ve read about Stevens’ family, they’re from the west coast, either Seattle or San Francisco. Parents and siblings IIRC, no wife or children.
If anyone thought he would confess to being blackmailed into the original testimony, and now throw the O under the bus, he did not do that.
How can anybody think that it was not a terrorist attack?
Its mind boggling that anybody can believe that this was a riot/protest and that the “protesters” just came out of nowhere with bazookas and starting shooting them at the Usa embassy in a coordinated manner in pre planned manner.

Yesterday, I think on this thread (so many threads, though) there was some detailed back and forth about whether Patreaus actually even said the attack was due to the video. According to someone or two, that statement came from a Dem repeating what Patreaus supposedly said. I don’t know if there is a quote/audio of Patreaus actually saying it.
I’m not saying one way or another as I do not know.
Nor am I making any bets about what he said today as I do not know.
I do think the below comment is interesting, though:
Peter King would not comment on the aspect of who called for back-up and who denied cross-border support for the 41 Americans in Benghazi.
It seems to me that if Petraeus exonerated Obama, that King would come forward with that story, or the dems in the room would.
Now, if Petraeus said Obama left those Americans to die at the hands of terrorists, then that information would be handled in a very special way. It would not be leaked by the Dems, and the republicans would have to have several meetings on what to do with it.

Well I am not military, just a woman who loved her country but now looking at headlines on Drudge am becoming more convinced we are in fact living in the “End of Days.”
I did it again, putting faith in Patreaeus to do the right thing and will never again do that. Palin was
right, people better be having a come to JESUS meeting like NOW! My faith resides in one only, GOD. I just pray for quickness of judgment.

I have no problem re not interviewing CIA personnel and assets. Interviews would endanger them and their families.
We will probably never read/hear from the national mediots that under the Obozo/Biden/Reid/Pelosi/Holder regime that the CIA had a prison in Benghazi were bad guys were probably waterboarded or more.
One can only imagine if that reality got out before the election, and the peaceniks of the Obozo/Biden/Reid/Pelosi/Holder regime decided not to vote for their beloved war lord, the great Obozo.

The warehouse in Benghazi was apparently a CIA prison for Islamo terrorists captured throughout Africa. That prison was probably recommended by P4, approved by POTUS/SOS/SOD. Then the funds were approved at the highest level, and 30 plus CIA employees and assets worked there, gathering info from the prisoners.
If Obozo’s true war nature was made public, many of his supporters might treat him like they did LBJ during the Nam war.
Obozo is a danger to America, but I get the feeling that his orders have ended the careers of many Islamofacist forever.
Using your reason then I would refer back to Broadwell outing the prison/prisoners in her speech found on youtube and ask the question, did Broadwell set up Patreus for Ham and the Admiral to compromise Patreaus to drag it all into the open?
The Stand Down order has nothing to do with the video meme. The video is every bit as much of a planned distraction in the investigation as it was on 9/11.
I have no confidence that Petraeus will even address the “Stand Down”. it would be the same as accusing Obama of murder.
Don’t count on it. My guess is that Petraeus is going to try to save his own hide and cover for both himself and Obama, by concentrating his testimony on the false narrative surrounding the video and refusing to answer questions regarding the “stand down”, which he will claim is classified information.
