CNN: PETRAEUS TO TESTIFY HE KNEW LIBYA WAS TERRORISM 'ALMOST IMMEDIATELY'
Breitbart ^

Posted on 11/15/2012 4:29:22 PM PST by hole_n_one

Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew "almost immediately" that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

So when will we know what his testimony is?

Good question... I figure it'll be sometime after the "media's" scrub is cleared by the WH.

So the big question is why was Petraeus promoted to head of CIA?

Rep. Peter King say Petraeus testified that the original CIA talking points stated it was a terrorist attack and even referenced al Qaeda. Somewhere along the line it was removed after leaving CIA.

I know there’s no family connection for security clearance. My husband has had T.S. for 30+ years; that doesn’t mean I do. (It also means that we never have discussions about work!) I believe Holly P. does have a government position, too, and it’s possible that it comes with a clearance similar to her husband’s. Possible.

BTW, I have a “need to know” what happened in Benghazi! We all do.

So GP goes before the House Intelligence Committee today. The only two members I know of who would have been tough on him are Reps. Bachmann and King. Does anyone know anything about the other Repub members? Is this the only House Committee he will appear before? I really, really hope he has to go before the House Oversight Committee so that Issa, Kelly, Gowdy, Chaffetz Adams etc get a crack at him!

Well, it appears the testimony is over. Did the general speak the truth about Obamugabe’s Lie Machine? Or did he support the Demon Rat?

I have had the same kind of thoughts and I pray that it is the case that very capable people are quietly working to save this nation. It would seem unlikely that there would not be. There are still patriots. We are not as far gone as some would like us to think, though we are definately on a downward trajectory at the moment. Everybody needs to pray.

Would you believe Holly took Fauxchahontas’ gov’t $186,000 job-—something to do with military families...could be the program that helped Michelle with military. *snicker*

I have had a TS clearance and beyond. Even with such clearances, you don't have access to all classified information, but you must have a "need to know" to have access to such classified information.

Holly P's position with a federal consumer agency would not warrant security clearences similar to those held by the CIA Director.

Per AP radio (consider the source) The general said his testimony was not effected by the affair back in Sept. So he caved.

Now off to Princeton I bet, Thanks General.

So why did Petraeus give false information three days later to the Congressional committee that the CIA believed it was connected to the video? Was he operating off of someone else’s talking points?

OMG!! Geraldo just said HE coined the phrase “Benghazi-gate”

He's still going on about that??? He had a little temper tantrum with the Friends last month to make sure everyone knew that HE invented Benghazi-gate. Like we wouldn't have thought that one up--ha ha!

Here is King on the Petraeus statement

According to King, Petraeus said that he had told Congress in the briefing three days later that it was a terrorist attack. King said he didn't believe that was the case having attended the briefing. The CIA analysis was changed, but no one knows by whom. Petraeus said it goes thru an interagency process and didn't recognize the significance at the time. Sounds like Petraeus is part of the cover-up.

In fairness, that deserves a qualifier... on election day, the “nation’s” voters were the heartbreaker, IMO...

There was no fair election, there was massive coordinated voter fraud.

Interesting. I hope so on your several points.
