Breaking from two decades of tradition, this years election exit poll is set to include surveys of voters in 31 states, not all 50 as it has for the past five presidential elections, according to multiple people involved in the planning.

So, they’re just giving up on the states that even they have to agree are Romney’s...this just gives them more time and people on the ground in contested states to do some before-poll closing ‘push-polls’...
There’s a tidal wave coming, and it ain’t for Obama, at least the kind that will raise his boat.
Watch the networks to overweight their exit polling in the bluest precincts of the bluest states just like they do with their regular phony polls.
Exit polls were debunked in ‘04 when they said Kerry had won the election at 4:00 in the afternoon.
http://www.people-press.org/2012/05/15/assessing-the-representativeness-of-public-opinion-surveys/ ~ even exit polls have their problems ~ one of the big ones is they can’t catch everybody to poll them PLUS with so many folks doing absentee or early balloting, it just doesn’t make any sense to do something anymore. This is a fool’s errand.
Heck, let’s not even count the votes. Have Homeland Security seize the ballot boxes and let the White House staff count them for us!
yet another fault line opening for the old guard media. They’re scaling back because they’re running out of money.
So, did they just drop the “safe Romney” states, or did they drop the “safe Obama” states as well... or are there any in this category?
The only thing exit polls are for is giving the media the chance to leak the biased results which always massively favor the democrats in an attempt to depress Republican turnout. Remember 2004 when the exit polls were leaked in mid afternoon showing Kerry winning over Bush by a healthy margin...
Many, many liberals hang their “self-worth” hats on their support of “brilliant” people. It was apparent that he wasn’t/isn’t brilliant in the least.
Many will be in denial, and many will experience a severe case of cognitive dissonance.
We were poll watchers in 2004. Our precinct was still voting when they called Pennsylvania for Kerry. Meanwhile, Ohio, which Bush won by almost exactly the same margin, didn’t get called until the next day and it was about noon before Kerry actually conceded.
Likely both. But I’d suspect that some of the ones they kept are really strong Romney ones that they think are close enough to frack with in addition to push the swing states.
The entire liberal and media establishment as well as news reporting wire organizations are evily corrupt. They simply will not give up and relent to logic and the evil of their convictions.
I think the SRM was finally convinced by zero last night that he really DID buy a mansion in Hawaii for Jan.
I’d like to see a “collage” of ALL of 0’s college transcripts, medical records, etc. ;)
If this doesn't tell you that their polls showing Obama ahead are a lie, you are brain dead.
Isn’t AP in the tank for Democrats? Shall we assume some dem war-room group - like the kind Carville runs - are behind this...
....Voters in the excluded states will still be interviewed as part of a national exit poll, but state-level estimates of the partisan, age or racial makeups of electorates wont be available as they have been since 1992.....
Exit polling has become less accurate with regards to the overall election outcome since we now have early voting in a number of states. They are attempting to phone survey early voters in some 15 states with a phone interview but that becomes harder with both landlines and cell phones.
