That’s right. I remember that. The teacher took the kid’s lunch because it had too many calories. I don’t even think the Soviet Union was this totalitarian. They let you booze it up and eat what you wanted as long as you praised Commrade Stalin.
Hold on just a minute. I thought we’ve been told that school lunches were the only meals some kids ate all day. Can’t have it both ways.
I played Football and Hockey when I was in high school. 5 AM on the ice for hockey practice and 3:30 PM on the field for football practice during the times the seasons overlapped.
If I was only allowed to eat 850 calories I would have literally died.
During those times of the school year we , my teammates and I, would drive to the local Burger King and each buy two Whoppers along with the large fries and drinks. We burned off every calorie.
The Marxist regime is now too much and has to be stopped. WE MUST TAKE BACK THE USA ON NOVEMBER 6th!
What about those free-lunch students who aren't eating enough at home and this might be their own major meal of the day? Don't they need a wee bit more?

Make sure you check your deed, to be sure there are no restrictions. There may well be. Also check with other well owners in your area to see if there are any problems with the well water. Well,,,,,,
Exactly. Parents have forgotten they are in charge of how every school runs. School board members are elected by who? PARENTS!

The football discussion and weight lifting sites I visit generally agree once the season starts eat as much as often as you can. 8-10,000 would not be unreasonable at his level for the 10 week season.
I ate 8,000 calories per day in High School. I was 5’ 11” and 135 pouns.

You're operating under an illusion if you think that Mr. Nanny State has any interest in restoring liberty at the lunch counter. Besides, if you ask Romney what kids should be eating, he would be able to think only of items served at 5 Star hotels and $25,000/plate campaign events. And cake.
Does anyone know what the ‘guidelines’ are for middle and gradeschool? What about the breakfasts?
