The President just said what everyone knows is the case.
The Egyptian military are no longer our allies. Morsi knew they weren’t on the MB side and purged a number of them (those who didn’t support the MB) and others retired while they could still get out alive.
They may still be a little less inclined to engage in outright savagery than the rabble, but they’re no longer our friends.
And it only costs us a few billion a year per country and a few slain soldiers a day for the priviledge. I’m fuming.

If this is truly the case, then the foreign aid needs to get turned off immediately. I believe after Israel, Egypt was our largest beneficiary of cash. To hell with 'em. If this is what they wanted, we'd better not be paying them for it.
Someone needs to start asking Obama and Congress questions; are we still sending Egypt money and if so, why?

It is far worst than that, the “Nation of Islam” is rising. Egypt and Iran are simply parts (and a small parts) of the nation of Islam. The only thing yet to be worked out is the role of the House of Saud. Once the Suadis fall to the new nation of Islam the wars will begin in earnest. It will be the middle ages all over again only this time with nukes.
