BAIER: Charles, we are just getting word from the Associated Press that President Obama personally intervened to change the Democratic platform language on Jerusalem and God. That is crossing the AP wire. So, obviously, it was important for the Obama campaign to deal with this.
KRAUTHAMMER: Well, if he intervened to have it reinstated, how did he allow his platform to omit it? And I would add, all that was reinstated is the language on Jerusalem. They did not restate language isolating Hamas, about no return to the '67 lines. And the Right of Return. All of that is left out of the platform. Quite troubling for pro-Israel community.
"I find your...faith disturbing."
Cheers!
Your not very observant. I didn’t say I wasn’t voting. I said since you didn’t like Obama or Romney you should sit this out. I’m voting for Romney. He’s the only choice to stave off socialism. He’s not who I’d hoped for but it’s who we got. I’m not dumb enough to stay home.
“Its pretty clear to me... It came out because he wanted it out, and it was put back in because he/they realized that taking it out could cost him the election.”
I’m pretty sure we were watching a set piece. Trying to give Obama a Sister Soljah moment. The great one defends Christians and Jews.
As a retrenchment for Bobo maybe. Mittens can win big without it.
2008 + IN, NC, FL, VA, NE1, NH, NV, NM, CO, IA, WI = 288EV
Note there are several states you can peel away from that formula -- most notably, VA -- and still get Mittens to 271.
Face it, it's over for Bobo.
Because he has no control over anything, never has, never will. He’s just a puppet for a person/persons that want nothing but the destruction of this country.
There is absolutely no upside on the political calculations for omitting God and Jerusalem from the platform. It is a political disaster that is worth more to Romney than all the money he raised last month.
It looks horrible. Then, just when we thought it could not get any better, they magnified the mistake with the three floor votes where the “no’s” seemed to win.
This was another “you did’nt build that” moment.
NE1? Is that like Any One?
Can you elaborate. I really don’t understand what you are talking about. How does Ohio factor into a thread about Krauthammer and Israel.
Unless somebody besides Hugh Hewitt reports it,there’s no downside. I just heard ABC news According the them, “it was placed back in”, no mention of Villarogosa’s corrupting the vote (hey, so what, he’s a Dem! OF COURSE they push election fraud).
Also ABC’s stenographers dutifully reported that Obama couldn’t speak in the stadium because of weather (despite the balmy weather report.
But at least Romney knows what the capital of Israel is.
That may not sound much, but it speaks to a vast improvement in foreign policy.
Oh. It plausible that 0bama used Jerusalem and God as a feint to simply get reelected by reinserting them in the platform. 0bama needs Ohio’s EVs, so Ohio brought up the vote. My take is that it’s a trick.
‘________it’s been taken over by___________’
Believe the Muslims have some sort of role somewhere in there - - -
I am not staying home either and voting for Romney. I just like to complain. lol.
You put the Lord's name in
You take the Lord's name out
You put the Lord's name in
Then give an angry shout
You do the Donkey Pokey
While you kick the Lord around
That's what it's all about !

‘________the nays were louder than the yeas.’
You are correct.
Heard Hugh also, and the multiple times he played that hysterical event.
They call themselves Jews but they’re actually political Jews. Just like obama calls himself Christian.
O’Reilly needs to see the CNN clip from the night before this vote, where Wolfie and Dana Bash were talking about these things being removed from the platform. She actually read the quote from the DNC that said that they removed that language for the new platform to be more in-line with the views of the Obama Administration. So, there it is.
Oopsy!
There is going to be some rough times if obama wins. And I have a feeling Iran is about to have some rough times whether he wins or not. Go Israelis!
Exactly — Say what you need to say, then do whatever you want.
It never matters either way because they don’t have any principles to stick to. Whatever it takes.
