One month to the day after his infamous you didnt build that speech, President Obamas description of wealthy people did not include smart or hardworking, as he instead ascribed their success to good luck.
If youre lucky enough, and fortunate enough, and been blessed enough to be in the other two percent, the top two percent, you still get a tax cut for your first $250,000 of income, Obama said during a campaign stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa. All were saying is after that, maybe you can do a little bit more to help pay down this deficit and invest in things like education that help our economy grow.
Obama avoided the cringe-inducing soundbite, but his remarks echoed the sense of his you didnt build that speech in Virginia.

What the #$%@ is he talking about? Not being taxed on your first $250,000? He has never filed out a tax return in his life.

Projection.
The reason he can’t stay away from this topic is because he was lucky and never worked and never earned anything and never built anything. He has no idea where businesses and products come from. He assumes that everyone else who has achieved something got it the same way he did: by having it handed to them on a silver platter.
My dad always told me, “you make your luck.” In other words, hard work, trusting in God, and using your talents to the best of your ability will open doors of opportunity you never thought were available.
Yes,Osama, many, many others helped you (and your pals and supporters) get to wherever you are but don't you dare tell me that *I* didn't achieve *my* "American dream all by myself!!!!
Nothing new here. Clinton did much the same when he referred successful people to “The winners of lifes lottery”
were it not for thrir hatred, envy and nastiness those on the Left would have nothing at all.
There is no such thing as luck...in business or in any other sector of life.
Life is what one makes of it.

Fred Smith of Federal Express must be one of the luckiest people on the planet. This is using Zero’s definition of luck. Fred S just happened to put together one of the most dominant businesses EVER.
You know, if I’m David Axelrod, I’m going to Barry and telling him to ****ing ZIP IT.
I think few of us would dispute that luck is a factor. But the difference between Zippy and most hard-working Americans (aside from being American and working hard) is that we don’t think that luck is the primary factor.
Most of us realize that you can work your tail off digging ditches and you will not get rich. You need to direct that work toward something with a payoff, or hire others to do it, or find a way to do it faster or cheaper than the next guy.
Hard work.
Intelligence.
Luck.
You need at least 2. But hard work is the one that you have the most control over and that is what makes it so important.
The prince of this world is behind him...
The word “Luck” comes from the word “Lucifer”...
I’ve had a liberal tell me that if you don’t want to pay taxes, you should be excluded from public accomodations including roads, police, fire protection, etc...
Yeah, sure... what about those who contribute nothing, and haven’t for generations, but simply sit on their asses and take from the “public accomodations”?
Within a year my son had the company on it's feet and turning a small profit.
Within 2 years he expanded the business to include commercial work specifically restaurants.
Within 5 years he had turned it into a national project management company for chain restaurants doing equipment installation, HVAC, electrical work, etc.
Today his multimillion dollar company has four offices and about 300 employees. His uncle is comfortably retired, another uncle and my younger son are working for him.
His success was not due to luck. It was due to hard work, sacrifice, having an idea and pursuing it, and a lot of sleepless nights.
Knowing all that my son has been through and is still going through establishing and running this business it makes me furious when Obama says thing like this.
My son has used his hard work and determination for good. He has created jobs, treated people and companies fairly, and offers a good service to other companies.
Everything Obama has done and wants to do is out of hate and used for destruction.
We’ll agree to disagree... on which is priority, but for me it has been about intelligence.
Two ditch diggers digging in a ditch one gets out and the other one is left...why?
Cool...totally agree with your liberal friend!!!
That would take 47% of the idiots off the road.
I am down with that! ;-0
“...Obama really doesn’t understand the correlation between hard work and achieving success...”
He’s LIFELONG LEECH/PARASITE/MARXIST; never worked a day in his pathetic, false life. Never sacrificed, never gambled on success, never made a strategic plan, never made payroll, never..., never..., never..., never... I could go on and on.
0BUMMER’S a lifelong L-O-S-E-R!
How could 52% of America have been so damned stupid to put this lowlife POS in office? Dear God, what have we done to our beloved Republic? He’s destroying America!
Can we ever get it back?
Obama would consider me “wealthy” although I am not. I am successful, however. It was all luck. That 7 years of post graduate education just fell into my lap out of the blue one day. And the 14 hour days I work, the nights, holidays and weekends spent at the job have nothing to do with success....I just got lucky and this great company started sending me paychecks to sit around and do nothing. I’m so glad this didn’t take any effort on my part....
Oh, and since I got “lucky” the government helps itself to half of my income. Good thing I didn’t have to work for it, or I might be pretty upset at that. /s
