Went to my local Chick-Fil-A here in Maryland(the Blue Liberal Bathtub) at Noon today and the store was already packed with customers just before Noon time today!
The other location near Waldorf Maryland was just as busy from what I have been told. Today in my opinion was the successful defense of free speech as well as free will as I have the right to spend my money when and where I want, when a business shares my believes.
Lexington Park was filled up.
Took me half an hour to get to the counter, Cars jammed all over the entrance waiting for the drive through.
Those kids earned their money today.
STILL PACKED when we went in Columbia, Maryland at 9:30! It was awesome. Prob 30 people ahead of us line inside...the drive-thru line was around the building.
You could feel the positive energy. Truly glad I went. Just felt so......part of a blessing.
Some history and historical pictures at the source of this FR thread.
We're being unruly and screwing up their plans.

Hey TBM. Good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well. I think CFA did very well today. I hope everyone keeps it up.
We couldn’t get close to our local CFA this evening. Traffic was snarled going into the restaurant, the parking lot was overflowing and the line of customers stretched out the door and around the building. I bet the workers are going to sleep well tonite...
My heart soars hearing of the Americans who speak freely for Free Speach and oppose the Facists who want to silence True Patriots.....
Piss On the Gay Thugs.
Same scene at local Chick-fil-A in Westminster, Maryland this evening after work.
Jam packed inside, with an outside line about a quarter of the way around the store. Traffic around the shopping center was snarled because of cars coming/going & waiting in the drive thru line, with cars driving by on the main road in front honking their horns in support. Took me a little less than an hour to get through the outside line and come out with my order. Everyone was very nice & polite despite the long wait & heavy volume.
First time I ever went into a Chick-fil-A (not much of a fast food fan), but the chicken was actually quite good.
Having run the kitchen in a sports bar, when the home team was in the playoffs (Mavs), and the game was in town.... Those guys and gals on the line and at the counter at CFA have my deepest empathy. Lots of folks soaking their feet tonight.

Check out this here thread for CFA updates from across the land, it's truly inspiring.
Doing a Maryland Freeper Ping to maybe hear about more on the street great reports from the rather Liberal state of Maryland.
One of the local stores stayed jammed from opening to at least 2100 hours. There was lots of police protection, too, and a lot of deputies got to eat fried chicken. It replaced the local Duncan Donuts for the day. I saw several families with nicely dressed children, 5-9 of them there, obvious church families and probably homeschooled. That traffic will continue. Many people who have occasionally or regularly gone to KFC and Church’s will switch. I think that, while the overflow crowds will certainly not continue, there will be a long term larger traffic in all the stores. Mr. Cathy could not have bought better advertising than that provided gratis by the Left and especially certain high profile mayors.
I had dinner at the Abingdon location. I got it to go since I was by myself and didn’t want to take up a table. Drive through was wrapped around the building twice. The line to get in the parking lot stretched for almost 1/2 mile. It was awe inspiring. People are fed up. The liberals and the homo’s went way too far this time.

RedMDer = your state!
I must of got there during the lull between lunch and dinner.
On the local DC 11PM news, the local CBS station carried a very short piece - about 13 minutes in -citing a COUNTER DEMONSTRATION, showing 2 different people with ‘stop the hate’ signs...immediately following was the ‘Editorial’ on the issue, which started against ‘us’, but cited it has failed in states votes and ended saying ‘they’ should learn to speak our language but both sides need to compromise.
The local ABC got about 6 minutes in and had a very favorable report, interviewing Black preachers against it and even had a (Black)fellow with a Bible ‘pounding’ on it and saying the Good Book says a marriage is between a man and woman. - they did mention the Friday event...
The local NBC doesn’t come on till midnite but would imagine it will be more along the lines of CBS.
The local FOX has a 10PM but had a short blurb early in the 11pm ‘recap’...etc...
