Today is “National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.”
After intolerant and First Amendment-hating Chicago politicians blocked Chick-fil-A from building a restaurant, former Governor Mike Huckabee announced his support for the restaurant chain and its Constitutional right of free speech. He declared today Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.
Allen sent this picture from west county St. Louis.
Allen added: People are standing in line 100+ deep to go inside. The lines go out and around the building. Two lines of drive through cars are around the shopping center.
St. Louisans also came out in huge numbers to show their support for the First Amendment.
The lot was jam-packed…
(Mike took these photos in Chesterfield, Missouri.)
The line goes around the block.
The line of cars wraps all the way around to the main boulevard, where the line still continues.
The surrounding streets and parking lots are packed.
The restaurant is full and the line goes out the door.
Normally, with this crowd volume you would expect short tempers and bedlam. That’s not the case today at Chick-fil-A. While the surrounding restaurant chains are empty, the people in this line are happily making a statement, talking to each other with smiles on their faces. They’re patriots taking a stand against a gross violation of our First Amendment right. And they are doing it in 100 degree temperatures.
Any bets if this will make the MSM tonight?
If you have more photos please send them in!
Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) bought Chick-fil-A for his office staff today.
Here’s a photo from Texas.
Ruth Wendelken sent this from Texas: This is at 11:15 at the Los Colinas Texas Chick-fil-a. Notice the line is three cars wide around the building. The line of foot traffic is huge. Notice the sign of 315 cars served at that time. Now in center line. Its a great day for Freedom of speech. Take that Boston, Chicago and San Francisco!
Why would you ask that question? Just curious.
Sounds like you're still without a car. Hollywood really isn't that far from the Wilshire district, unless you're hoofing it. Less than five miles, actually.
Perhaps a local Freeper will see your post and offer you a lift.
Ted Cruz country!
Packed. Lines out the door. Parking has spilled over to the Wal-Mart parking lot.
I have a couple of pics if someone can post them.
Folks smiling, talking and laughing.
A Chick-Fil-A semi pulled in while I was there and three guys started off loading stacks of more supplies.
Rahm-blow, N.C. State U., Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, South Bend U., Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno, University of Texas Austin, the Muppets and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee...

Yeah, really, we have to space out the “shifts” anyway, lol. I’ve never had their food, but ordered a couple of wraps, plus the waffle fries I always hear about. My parents are going to take pictures if they can, and wait in line. My hubby tried to get in twice today (at lunch and now after work, before the chiro) and couldn’t.
What a wonderful idea! Good for you!
When I got to the window I asked the little gal if they had expected that kind of turnout. She said “No”...they had no idea that this many people cared about the company and it's values...I assured her that, as evidenced by the huge lines and crowds, that there are a LOT of people who care.
And how many more that couldn’t make it today, but fully agree. I hear CFAs have been packed ever since this gay boycott was announced. As busy as it was all day today, I’ll bet it will be even more so as people who couldn’t take time from work to stand in line at lunch will do so after work tonight.
I don’t know actually...it was in my Facebook feed.
Those look like Franciscan habits, so the nuns may be from Mother Angelica’s order in Hanceville AL.
Chik-fil-A —— Yum Without the Dumb
Isn’t it amazing how polite and patient everyone is in line.
If something as simple as a national restaurant chain can garner this much passion, imagine how that is going to be restated at the ballot box . . .
after all, it is pretty much due to this evil administrations action that this is even necessary. They created the atmosphere for it . . .
We are going to hear a lot about racist hatred of this president, but in fact, it is the core moral values and patriotic fervor of the people that is being heard from these days.
Sometimes, I have reason to hope for the best . . .
I’m sure Newsbusters, Right Scoop, Hot Air, Twitchy or some other outlet will have some video of it. Then time to file a complaint with Fox.
He’s a very heavy smoker, and very much a Lefty.
I couldn’t get within 1/2 mile of the place, face. Not likely today. :^(
I couldn’t even get parked close enough to get a picture. I’ve never seen anything like it. At least 50 cars at the drive-thru.
There *will* be stories of some restaurants running out of food.
I thought of that as well. But... I thought of something better.
IF and when they do it, everyone should turn their back to them. (the one thing they can’t stand is to be ignored)
If they ask why, tell them you as just doing what God will be doing to them eventually
My personal opinion is to disagree. I was hoping for some protestors at my local CFA today. I would have bought them lunch. I want them to see that CFA does NOT discriminate in its employment practices or in its treatment of patrons...and that everyone is welcome. It’s not that CFA is intolerant
It’s because America is free and this is what freedom is. Why shut down a company that doesn’t agree with you philosophically?
Then, I would ask them when they plan on boycotting Muslim-owned business over their Islamic view and treatment of gay people.....
Neutralize them with kindness
