I’m with you. I’d rather have biscuits (with gravy, or butter/Karo Syrup, or butter/jelly) than cereal. I actually had an egg-biscuit for breakfast yesterday.

Well, our house lost power again yesterday. Second time in three days this has happened.

I just came back from Comanche City Hall and asked if they knew what caused the outage. It turned out there was either a pole or a line down and that's what caused the outage.

Apparently the outage was confined to a small strip of blocks. The only other thing I could find that was out was the marquee on the Comanche Public Schools sign. This is on the West end on the strip of blocks our house is located in.

Trying to get info is very hard to find. Maybe I'll know more in the local newspaper.

Not much else is happening. We may get some rain tomorrow. Crossing our fingers.

Mmm...egg-biscuit (maybe with sausage and cheese too!) or Meg’s blueberry muffins sound and look really good, too! :)

I could do cheese, but this gal stays faaaaaar away from jalapenos! Ouch! LOL!

That has got to be very frustrating! I hope they locate the
source of the outage and make sure that it doesn’t happen
any more. It’s too hot to be without your AC!

Has it been too hot for you and Bo to get out to the lake? I’m
coming up to OKC next week...hope it’s cooled down by then. :)

Well, there is that old boring caveat! LOL! I prolly have 3 in a whole year. The calories alone........Yikes!

But they ARE yummy to think about. :)

We ave been going to the lake some. Usually when we go I always make sure to put on my suntan lotion.

But...but...sodium is such a great preservative! And it tastes good, too!!

Disclaimer: my doctor also disapproves of sodium.

I haven’t been told that...yet. I never add salt to anything, but I’m sure my “fast food” has plenty anyhow. :)

As a general rule, we don’t put the salt shaker on the table and we don’t use much in cooking. There’s plenty of salt already added to most foods you buy at the store. I no longer eat canned soups because of the sodium content.

OTOH, I never pass up an opportunity to eat bacon; salt or no salt! I guess my doctor’s orders will only be partially observed.
