I haven’t been told that...yet. I never add salt to anything, but I’m sure my “fast food” has plenty anyhow. :)
As a general rule, we don’t put the salt shaker on the table and we don’t use much in cooking. There’s plenty of salt already added to most foods you buy at the store. I no longer eat canned soups because of the sodium content.
OTOH, I never pass up an opportunity to eat bacon; salt or no salt! I guess my doctor’s orders will only be partially observed.
