Following outrage from parents; a changed version of "God Bless the USA" has been pulled from an upcoming school assembly concert.
According to parents, children at Stall Brook Elementary school were told to sing "We love the USA" instead of "God Bless the USA" during the chorus of the popular Lee Greenwood song.

50% of the parents objected to the removal of “God.”
The other 50% objected to their children singing that they loved the USA.

If I had to raise my kids again, they would NEVER set foot in a government “school”. For all the OBVIOUS reasons.
Can Lee Greenwood sue them for messing with his song?

Went to Disneyland last 4th of July, when “This is my country” was sung, the line “land of my birth” was changed to “land of my choice”.
I was shocked how many people sitting around me started kvetching about it.
At first I didn’t know if anyone even noticed, but they did and were pissed.
Goebbels would be proud of our public school system.
Actually, the concept of God IS very offensive to a liberal.
Along with God comes objective standards, and being judged by those standards, with consequences for failing to meet those standards.
Indeed, very, very offensive to liberals.
Headline led me to another conclusion....
Yet muslims got their kids a holiday in the Boston schools- SPECIFICALLY a muslim holiday. But, God is bad and loving the United States is even worse.

How soon before our little skulls full of mush are urged to respond to a sneeze by saying something like “Gaia guard you” or something similarly vapid?

This is grimly fun.
I remember Rush saying something to the effect that liberals hated having the Ten Commandments posted because it was a constant reminder of everything they did wrong.
