New Black Panther leader Malik Shabazz threatens to burn Detroit down

Angry over steps being taken due to a financial emergency in Detroit, New Black Panther Party leader Malik Shabazz declared he would burn the city down.

"This is white on black crime," he said during public comment at the two hour meeting held Monday afternoon.

"This is white supremacy. Before you can take over our city, we will burn it down," he added.

A post at Twitchy.com highlights some of the messages sparked by Shabazz's threat:

"For Detroit that probably qualifies as Urban Renewal," wrote one person.

"What? Theres nothing left to burn," wrote another.

Last December, talk show host Rush Limbaugh offered his advice for fixing Detroit: "Get rid of every liberal in government."

Don't kid yourself - the 'few dozen' probably include elites in the MSM - (who really do buy ink by the barrel) rich liberal haters like George Soros (with money to push their viewpoint), and every stripe of radical Islamists and State Communist organizations. I visited Detroit a number of times in the early 60s. It was a normal prosperous city then. None of this takes a long time.

As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife! Detroit may be one of our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike, and total separation from America…

Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islamic mosques in Michigan , paid for by Saudi Arabia oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June, according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America.... English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing.

Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city. In Time Magazine’s October 4, 2009, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell, and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened.

An open, honest, no holds barred discussion on race is critical. DJ, your comments on Detroit should be posted as a stand alone post.

Liberals feel an 'open' discussion of race means they get to lecture us - while threatening us if we have an opinion different then theirs. That's wrong. Time to get real - have that talk - the one liberals fear. Black freepers should be part of it - and if possible, include Shabazz. When it's all on the table, some might be able to make sense of this horror...
