The fast food chain Chick-Fil-A, which has come under attack in the past for the conservative Christian values of its owners, is now fighting homosexual activists who want to see the restaurant kicked off college campuses across the country.
According to a Baptist Press report, the company has been at the center of controversy on at least nine campuses, including Duke University, Northeastern University, and New York University (NYU).
Students who want to see the restaurant kicked off campus or blocked from coming point to its donations to conservative Christian charities as evidence of its anti-gay agenda. According to IRS documents, WinShape, a charitable foundation funded by the company, funneled about $2 million to groups such as the Marriage & Family Legacy Fund, Focus on the Family, Exodus International, and the Family Research Council in 2009.
These donations, say NYU freshman Hillary Dworkoski, show that the restaurant is out of sync with her universitys open and inclusive campus.
Maintaining a contract with an anti-gay vendor like Chick-fil-A undermines what makes this university so great, she wrote, in a Change.org petition asking the school to give the fast food chain the boot.

And they support the local Christian school’s “Power Cards”.
I got two different school power cards in my wallet and Chic-Fil-A is on both of them.
Get a free chicken sandwich for buying the # 1 meal.
These people are just bored.
Cows advising people to eat mo chicken is fun and good advertising. The fast food provided by Chic-Fil-A fits well with the lifestyle of the college crowd. There is just something fundamentally wrong with some Reprobate claiming the business associates of Chick-Fil-A —and not the food service provided—ought disqualify Chick-Fil-A from College Campuses. ONLY a MORON -or someone advancing the Gay Agenda would be blind to the fact that when one calls for exclusion of a group they cannot promote Open and inclusion by excluding. These same Reprobate domestic terrorists insist Christian groups may not exclude infidels and atheists. Why should the unbelievers be allowed to exclude Christians?
These whiners are the ultimate hypocrites. They complain about “bullying” but have no qualms about bullying those who don’t agree with them.
So much for being inclusive.
Many years ago, I learned that such “liberalswill tolerate anything except contradiction. Now they have taken over the universities.
What is truly sad is that Ms. Dworkoski has made it to college and yet doesn't realize how hypocritical her statement is. Open and inclusive means all views, not just the ones you hold near & dear.
What's even sadder is her professors don't realize how hypocritical that view is either.
——Open and inclusive——
Like General Sheridan said, The only good queer is a dead queer
If these homos lived in the Middle East, they would be ground up into chicken patties and served as goat food.
Every Time !
About time to hear something supporting freedom come out of a college campus.
Liberals are anti-Christian.
They’ll “tolerate” ANYTHING except Christian values.
Homos are funny.
They attempted to engineer their “boycott” of Chik-Fil-A a couple years ago, and the result? A far-more family-friendly location... always full of customers... a great place to go at lunchtime or after work.
Does anyone from around Chicago remember the “Taste of Chicago” and the “Thank You Jesse Jackson” t-shirts? This sounds like a similar situation.
I’m so tired of these people and not sure how much longer I can go on living near and around them and the kind of people who advocate for them.
Am learning in my NP assessment courses now the sort of damage that men do to their rectal areas and prostate by participating in anal sex. It’s really, really a disgusting and disordered practice.
It’s not what our rectums were made for, really. Why we are constantly sold this as “normal” and natural ...it’s just beyond me. It’s NOT. It is filthy, literally and figuratively.
I’m at the point where I just pity them if they are compelled to do this, if their attractions are so strong. However, I am NOT going to “fight” for their right to do it. It’s not something to fight for — it’s something to pity or hopefully, just something a person can, with great prayer and strength, learn to avoid doing.
Remember this - it’s not the homos who are the problem, it’s the anti-Christians using “homosexual rights” as a weapon against Christians who are the problem.
The goal is to get Christian values outlawed.
I’m not so sure about this scenario.
A Dem all-out attack on the LDS Church will expose the soft and ugly underside of the Democrat party to the voters in this country, who do not take kindly to attacks on religion.
It also opens up the obvious, that if they attack one religion (well two so far, counting Catholics who have been viciously attacked by this administration) where will they stop?
Members of all religions would be wondering if their religious belief is the next one to be attacked.
Basing a campaign on religious attacks doesn’t work very well in this country. Yet.
If I am wrong, we may as well give up hope.
