Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum labeled Rush Limbaugh "absurd" over disparaging remarks from the radio talk show host directed at a law student who testified before a House panel in support of access to contraceptives.
"He's being absurd, but that's you know, an entertainer can be absurd," Santorum told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Friday. "He's in a very different business than I am."

It is obvious Santorum made his comments and never listened to what Rush had actually said. Rush is doing an honor to his friend Andrew Breitbart in blowing the DEM plan for another government program with a plant at Georgetown U who just happened to be called to testify in Congress! Yes, MS Sandra Fluke only pays $65,000 per year for college but needs the US taxpayers to pay for her birth control pills she just can’t afford!!! She, after all has a RiGHT to free birth control pills so she can have ALL the sex she wants!!

Santorum can be really stupid. He should have said nothing. Rush has been very generous to him and he’s the one who’s dug himself into a hole with his own comments.
Hoping for a Gingrich surge.

The Newt supporters are going to look like fools bashing Rick over his " Absurd " comment when Newt comes out and speaks on this and basically says the same thing Rick Santorum has said.
It's not the slut comment that got Rush into trouble over this whole thing, listen to what he had to say again.
To: ScottinVA
The Newt supports must not have listen to all what Rush had said.
They are also going to look like fools bashing Rick for his comment about Rush when Newt is asked the same thing and basically says the same thing.
To: COBOL2Java
The point is, he didn’t defend Rush, who has really been nice to him on air, or point out the media hypocrisy, like Mark Levin did tonight. I guess Rick was just being a team player, Team Santorum.
To: treetopsandroofs
No, your wrong, he did not, listen to all what Rush had said.
Most Americans will agree with Rick Santorum on this, and the Newt supporters will look foolish when Newt is asked the very same thing of what Rush said and with his own statement and basically saying the same thing that most Americans and Rick said about it.

Boehner = Inappropriate
Santorum = Absurd
Almost like a team, you could say...

"He's being absurd, but that's you know, an entertainer can be absurd," The left has been calling Rush an "entertainer" for years.
It's a description that minimizes Rush's philosophical point-of-view.
So what does Ricky do when confronted with a politically incorrect statement made by Rush?
Rick goes with the vernacular of the left.
Rush the "entertainer".
To: Apollo5600
What the heck is he thinking bashing Rush Limbaugh and involving himself in yet another morality controversy!?,How did he "bash" Limbaugh by saying he was absurd? That is exactly what Rush was doing, being absurd.

And I wonder if Santorum has actually reviewed the testimony as opposed to reading all the pravada versions of it in the media.

I like them both, but this weeks-long national fixation on contraception will only help Obama, as it drowns out the facts of Obama’s many failuures.
