(CNSNews.com) - In a speech delivered at Osawatomie High School in Osawatomie, Kansas, on Tuesday, President Barack Obama argued that while a limited government that preserves free markets "speaks to our rugged individualism" as Americans, such a system "doesn't work" and "has never worked" and that Americans must look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.
"'[T]here is a certain crowd in Washington who, for the last few decades, have said, lets respond to this economic challenge with the same old tune. 'The market will take care of everything,' they tell us," said Obama. "If we just cut more regulations and cut more taxes--especially for the wealthy--our economy will grow stronger.
"Sure, they say, there will be winners and losers," Obama continued. "But if the winners do really well, then jobs and prosperity will eventually trickle down to everybody else. And, they argue, even if prosperity doesnt trickle down, well, thats the price of liberty.

“....a limited government that preserves free markets “speaks to our rugged individualism” as Americans, such a system “doesn’t work” and “has never worked”...
The empirical evidence demonstrates thatyou are, YET AGAIN, WRONG!
EPIC FAIL.
It is overreaching government and burdensome tax rates that crushes economies.
You are naught but a Pedantic Pultroon!

At least once in every one of his speeches Obama proves he’s an idiot and proud of it.

I've included a copy of
Wealth of Nations in my emergency SHTF supplies. He's obviously not read or studied much. Well, that, and he's a liar.

Clearly what is needed is a Soviet-style, centrally-planned economy, because that is what has always worked best and would still be working in Russia if Ronald Reagan had not had the stupid idea that people prefer freedom.

He loves to say things that just aren’t true, hoping his listeners will slavishly adore his words and won’t look elsewhere, where they might find the truth.

I wonder if 0 passed out copies of “Das Kapital” to all who attended the speech?
To: Just4Him
A free market is the economic expression of freedom. So, when Obama claims that "free markets don't work", he's also saying that freedom itself doesn't work.
That's the major reason that it's imperative he be stopped from having another term. And I'm willing to accept ANY Republican, however flawed, who can do that.

I will give Obama credit where credit is due.
In the face of overwhelming evidence, he stays focused on his Marxist goals.

Oh yeah, they're "preserving the middle class" all righty, by making sure they'll never be rich. The regulations to "preserve the middle class" are
designed and implemented by the extremely rich in order to keep the middle class from becoming a threat to them.
Zero is just a high-priced bag man for a claque of feudal fascists.
